Helloooo, for the people who wondering about the cover of ''the fury'' what is or what means i am here to tell you!
i am Greek so i know, this specific eye is a symbol for the ''evil eye'' (The evil eye is a supernatural belief in a curse brought about by a malevolent glare, usually inspired by envy.)
so if you ever visit Greece you will find it everywhere from magnets to bracelets or decors for your house! so i believe Alex Michaelides add this to the cover cause the story takes action on a Greek island or cause he wants to give to the book the supernatural evil look that has to do something about the story? (didnt read the book yet so...) who knows we are Greeks, crazy and weird xd

I love Rachel Harrison, I’ve read all of her books! Her books aren’t really scary, they’re more of a cozy horror vibe. Cackle is my favorite of her books, and Black Sheep is about a cult!

I've read and Such Sharp Teeth and I really liked it a lot, which surprised me because I don't typically enjoy werewolf tales. I also read Cackle and it is one of my favorite books. Rachel Harrison's writing is so fun.
I just bought Gothikana the other day and it’s currently sitting on my TBR shelf. I mostly bought it for the cover😂 but it sounds interesting too.
The premise of The Fury sounds sounds so much like The Glass Onion (the movie...that was a ride!).

And Then She Fell is one of my top two books I read in 2023. I can't stop thinking about it. It tied with Monstrilio. This month I'm reading Demon of Unrest by Erik Larson, I'm Afraid You've Got Dragons by Peter S Beagle, Goddess of the River by Vaishnavi Patel, The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton, and Sisters of the Lost Nation by Nick Medina. I'd like to listen to an audiobook as well, but haven't picked one yet - Recommendation?

I've read Black Sheep and Such Sharp Teeth. Cackle is currently sitting in my stack of library books just waiting. Such Sharp Teeth has been one of my favorites of the year and Black Sheep was...not. But I'm a werewolf girlie and that story just hit a bit more on things I can relate to. I can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Hey, I read black sheep in Feb it was fun, I read it in a day (which is soo unlike me!) her writing style is so fun… kinda reminds me of Grady Hendrix in a way.. but I’ve heard it’s not her best… personally I gave 3 stars but had a good time! …so I can’t wait to read her other books! Cackle was great! Also, have you heard of a book called Someone to Build a Nest In? It's supposed to be a sapphic horror with a girl who hunts monsters and a girl who happens to be a shapeshifting monster who eats people and somehow they fall in love ❤️ I haven't read it yet but it sounds amazing.

Black Sheep is basically about a girl who runs away from her family because they all worship Satan. I enjoyed it. I think I do prefer Cackle though
