Its usually more cost effective and safer in the long run just to replace them all at once especially when doing a job like this. I keep all my old hoses and reuse them for other projects.
Mate trust me replace it and the clamps , I did mine it took so long and it’s so hard to get into. Also make sure you learn the process to bleed air out of the coolant system. It’s so easy to get an airlock in the l67
Replace the back coolant cross over on the limor top of block? as well. Everyone does the rear main plate but ive had a hole corrode in them. You cant see them when fitted and cooks them.
Change it. Wait. Use good shielded hose clamps. Like what's used on semi truck silicone heater hoses. There's another week waiting on amazon, unless Kenworth is down the street. Cheers from The US. P.s. clock the damn clamp so if shit happens you can get to them.
I have the mentality of replace it anyway. Nothing worse than doing all that work just to tear it all back down to replace a cheap part. Save yourself time and money in the long-run and replace it.
Do it properly the first time, Old but good goes into storage for just in case.

Preventative maintenance definitely replace it. It will save you time in the long run
Order it ... place the motor in there as far as u can go where u can still replace this part. And wait for the part.
Repco tarneit had a couple when I needed one last year

Test of patience vs peace of mind.

Replace it since it’s $20 as you don’t want it to fail and damage the engine

Do the manifold gaskets while it's out also.
Its a rabbit hole trying to replace stuff
I would've waited and got a new one
Change it...because like u said $20 dollars is cheap an you dont have to worry about it later😂
Wait the few days. Work smarter not harder.
New one? Heck get an upgrade.
I’d have just put the motor back in, then the hose would’ve went out and I would’ve had to take it all out again to replace it
wait a few days :)
Wait four more days is what you do.
I'd get Plazmaman or some other good business to make you one out of Aluminium. It's a simple U bend
Get a new one mate.. anything like that on the engine that's cheaply interchangeable and only easily accessible while the engine out get it done !!
Bro if you don't go get an elbow some hose clamps and 4 inches of hose.....
Wait
