@@jetsflyingoffatrain4338 I live in Australia and due to our gun saftey law or something the Nerf guns don't shoot as hard or far ( you can tell if the gun has a grey trigger) so when we got this gun it actually shot further than my flywheel blaster so I can understand this not being good in the US but Australia has a habit of banning certain stuff for no reason so this gun was actually really good when we first got it. P.S in Australia we can't even get the rival series

I feel like, at least recently, nerf has turned the zombie series into a kind of proof-of-concept thing. The judge was this huge barrel shotgun thing, the scravenger was a lever action rifle, the rev-reaper was a gun with no trigger, and this one is a gun with JUST a trigger. And I like it! This certainly seems promising, despite the terrible performance, and I look forward to them improving the technology to the point where it rivals the traditional blasters!

Quick easy mod tips for the nail biter: it’s really easy to tear out the dart pegs from the back of the clip in the uppermost position. This allows for use of half length darts, and even stacking them for an 8 shot single handed shotgun. I also had an elite specter that stopped catching so I stacked the spring from it with the original nail biter spring and it shoots a bit harder

Nerf honestly needs to do more with this, it would be so awesome to see semi auto springers in so many other forms, I would rather use that then use flywheels, they just take up space and you have to buy batteries effectively making the price more, I hope they do more, and they need to fix that fps.
This blaster is perfect as a primary if you know how to aim and hit all your hits because it’s pretty annoying to keep on reloading but the only con is that your hand starts getting tired
I have the nailbiter and it is amazing it's my favorite blaster I use it on a one point sling as a secondary and its great especially when u nead to go around a corner and immediately fire darts very quick without haveing to rev the blaster also ik nobody asked but my primary is a rapidstrike also for me my nailbiter shoots pretty well it shoots about the same as my demolisher with fresh batteries

I am glad that nerf is trying really new stuff like this. A semi-auto springer is something that people have talked about for a while now. And to see their first real attempt at it is nice! It's a bit weak of course, but I look forward to seeing if we'll ever get some really good semi-auto springers in the future!
I put a stock, a vertical grip on that bottom rail, yes I did, and a short barrel. I gave it a very dark re-paint with copper highlights, like where it says Nailbiter and other noticable details. Not for use outside, of course, but looks great as a sci-fi blaster on the wall.
Wow, a real double-action only Nerf blaster.... I'm honestly just excited by the fact that they sought out to achieve that, and they pulled it off. I did not expect it to have high FPS, since that would require a very tough trigger pull. Perhaps you could modify it with a better spring, and then some kind of mechanical advantage on the trigger pull.

Finaly a semi auto nerf blaster that works like a real gun, if you seen a pistol fire you can see that when you fire it it automatically primes it again, like this blaster, real guns dont use fly wheels for semi auto mechanisms
sling it as a secondary when you need stealth rapid firing that will be a good role, just remember to reaload it lol edit : the magstrike also does good in that role but its air powered and much more bigger

My nailbiter has a pretty good fps I don't know exactly but its shooting about as far and fast as my demolisher with fresh batteries

With a little spray paint, you can get it to look just like the RUST nail gun. Possible cosplay ideas.
