I got the collector edition of the xbox 360 game when it came out, ive used the lunchbox to hold the commander decks all together and upgraded them with only fallout cards and its a really fun little fallout battle box
Yeah, some collectibles go up, and are truly collectible. People like to complain on both ends. They over printed; it’s not worth anything. They short printed; you can’t find any, too expensive.
I don’t play or collect MTG TCG, but I did buy a collector booster box on release for $350 from my LGS. I talked to the owner and he said no chance they will reprint it. I love Fallout so i needed it for my fallout memorabilia collection. You should see how much I’ve spent on Three Zero fallout power armor 1/6 scale models. I’m sure there are others out there who bought it for the collection, never intending to play with it.
I hadn’t played the Fallout games but did enjoy the TV show. By the time I finished the show and was looking to buy it was over $400/box. At that price it’s hard to justify vs. spending $400 on singles for a few really nice cards, especially if you’re not a serialized card hunter.
WotC left a tonne of money on the table for the secondary market. There's gotta be more planned, especially if they can time it close to the arrival of season 2. The commander decks should get some reprints at least.

Ridiculously under printed. Just no supply. Found 2 Omega’s at my local target for $27 snagged the up and opened.
