Omg I lived in Newfoundland for 8 yrs but then I moved :)
Lived there in Argentia. Loved the Province and the people. Incredibly friendly people. Spent most of time exploring the Avalon. Great video! Also liked episode 2!
A little disconcerting seeing one of the "faces" reading, "Why Marx Was Right". "Why Mein Kampf Was Right" next? Can't see any good in either of these deadly ideologies. Hope it was just a joke.

We simultaneously worked on several videos from the start, and certainly want to incorporate local musicians into the mix. The next video will feature some Newfoundland music and hopefully in the future we can release more videos with increasing numbers of local musicians.

Frank Davis TH-cam and many artist's labels allow their work to be used in numerous circumstances, so long as the revenue from the ad goes to the artist rather than us. Our only aim is to bring people together, and celebrate our province and the people in it. We hope you like the second video too. :)
And to think my mother moved away from Newfoundland which is so beautiful to make a life here in USA , ☹️
It should be called faces of Newfoundland and Labrador - especially since many of the images are from Labrador...
Faces of Newfoundland is a photoblog of mine, where I take pictures of people and share them on facebook and facesofnewfoundland.com. The idea of calling it Faces of Newfoundland and not Faces of Newfoundland & Labrador is based solely on geography, as I don't live in and have never visited Labrador, as beautiful as it is. So I can't take pictures there, so it would be a misnomer. This video however, is to promote the photoblog, and does include some Labrador, as it felt wrong to exclude when it was possible to include! Always include when possible! :) So hopefully in the future I will be able to visit Labrador and possibly change the name of the blog, as my time permits.
