No need to hit wanted and bonfire which are searchers for underpowered decks just hit the freaking plus 4 that can is also whole piece of removal/follow up
This guy is a fucking madman lmao. Absolute worst hot takes of all time. My man said "kill stun, kill snake eye, kill any card i dont like playing against." We need a banlist yes absolutely but I'm sure after watching this dumpster fire list everyone is very happy you have absolutely nothing to do with the decisions involving the banlist
@@ij4218still. Seems like a very toxic standard for Konami to set. Always hitting a competitive deck that a person on a budget could reasonably build. An one example a pattern it doesn’t make. Not to mention full power super heavy was able to set up so many negates on one card combo. With possibly four hand traps in the hand.
Magnamhut should get banned over heratic seal tbh. Magnamhut is a DD crow and a searcher for any dragon from deck to hand in the end phase. Basically going neutral in card advantage. Cards gotta go at this point it was a necessary evil against ishizu tear but those days are long gone. The bystials gatekeep light and dark decks like how kashtira ariseheart was gatekeeping decks that dont like their cards to be banished. That engine should have never been printed if you ask me but same with kashtira ariseheart and the ishizu cards. Literally broken card design.
Disagree on the Magnamhut and Seals getting hit. Former is fine at 1 while the latter is literally Tenpais main play going first. Heat wave can get hit but tbh doesn’t really matter. My hot take? Put Ash and Oak to 1 but One for One to 3
I feel like anima hit would be so dumb for them to do but I could see it. Konami hates to hit the actual problem cards. Anima hasn’t really been an issue as long as it’s been out bc you can just play around it
Disagree on Anima but like the other hits. Id just limit skill drain, synchro zone, grave of the superancient, and probably ban secret village too to hopefully kill off stun. dont know if i missed you saying Calamity but that card needs banning too
I can definitely see them hitting all these except for the secret village since it's not as popular. Issue is that it may become popular if they don't hit it 🙄 Calamity has been a problematic card for a while now.. while maybe not as prevalent or as showcased, it's still something that needs to be addressed
You cant seriously expect them to ban every single stun card there is.... right? Its an archetype that should be in the game. Period. No way around that. Control is a necessary release valve. Them hitting every stun card is literally counterproductive.
Dude is crazy... absolutely ridiculous... making some wrong calls. Ban IP, sanctifire dragon, calamity, shifter. At 1; wanted, snash, bonfire, flamberg, SP, skill drain, super poly, fenrir. At 2; tenpai field spell, original sin.
@PandaQueen_ygo who knows. They might not be the most representative after they get hit. The meta should change and be diverse enough, but they'll probably still be in the top cut
Classic don't hit the problem. The rest is fine but calamity isn't a problem. Crimson dragon will always be the problem. Calamity can not be made outside of RDA effectively without crimson.
Here's my suggestion. Ban every generic overpowered card. Ban every generic omni negate. Limit all hand traps to 1. Every card moving forward should only be usable in its original archetype. I don't wanna see decks with two archetypes mashed together like runic + x, tearlaments + x, and snake eyes + fire king or whatever bs people come up with nowadays.
Bro you literally just made a video basically ranting about cards you dont like playing against. SANCTIFIER DRAGON IS OPPRESIVE AND HAS TO GO? 😂😂😂😂 wtf ??? Ban every stun card ? Ban hieratic seal? 😂😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ fam. Please be serious. Snake eye is a clear cut issue. Yeah. Heat wave, sure. Whatever. Yeah. But you cant ban every card that stops your combos and breaks your boards. Shifter is literally just fine rn. This video is crazy. you're banning flamberge dragon outright, limiting ash to one, killing an entire archetype instead of turning a dial back on it, you're killing every stun deck because you dont like it. Wildly unrealistic. Fr. I dont even wanna argue but shit like this makes people not take you serious. Especially w nonsense like REBORN to 3. Cmon.
Some of your takes in this comment are unanimously agreed upon to be wrong. 1. Yes banning flam isn’t correct yet, they better off banning like oak or temple or both + some consistency hits whilst letting decks like Yubel come in to also remove the tier 0 status. 2. Banning sanctifire is something everyone agrees should happen. It’s not healthy for the game and has remove branded identity. Now the deck is just turbo gimmick puppet which isn’t fun. 3. Shifter isn’t a problem now doesn’t make it less of a problem card. It’s toxic, should be banned. 4. Stun will never always get addressed but they should ban cards like skill drain because again, no skill is involved in flipping a floodgate. 5. Seals ban isn’t that bad of a take.
@@AndrewUdal congratulations. Wrong on almost every single count. - executing a deck by banning 2 cards & limiting 3 otherd is not the way to go about dialing a deck back to playability without being tier 0. You still want snake eye to be a deck, just not its current iteration which is wildly overpowered. - Sanctifire dragon isn't even played in 76% of branded decks. That tells you everything you need to know about how "oppressive and broken" it is. - People dont like getting locked out of the game. You're one of them. I get it. But control and prison decks exist in every tcg ever invented at every level from casual to the pro tiers of competitive play. Its how yugioh has worked since its inception. The puppet lock is hard enough to pull off that most branded players arent even interested. - Skill drain is the ONE floodgate in the game allowed at 3. Stun / Control is a deck that is necessary in any given meta, killing it completely unlocks the door for actual degenerate shit with no recourse. - Shifter is a unique effect that targets aggressive graveyard strategies like horus rn. Its niche and one dimensional which makes it relatively high reward with a MASSIVE opportunity cost. That is how tech cards are SUPPOSED to work.
@@rezzytheskyguy alright time to add some research to my claims. 1. The suggestions I made don’t kill the deck in any way. I play the deck myself so I know what does and doesn’t kill it. 2. “Sanctifire dragon isn’t even played in 76% of branded decks”. According to yugiohmeta (which has taken in deck profiles of all the major events and continually updating) sanctifire dragon is played 87% of the time in branded decks, and 88% at tier 3 (national/ycs etc) levels. So your random number isn’t even slightly correct. For gimmick puppet, it’s 76% overall and 81% for tier 3 events. 3. Just because stun cards exist doesn’t make them healthy. Smoking exists and is legal but that isn’t healthy, people die from it. An argument based on something existing doesn’t make it suddenly valid to keep. This is why banlists exist, to remove problematic cards. I’m not saying Konami should ban every floodgate at once, but they don’t promote healthy gameplay. 4. Shifter is an ftk whenever it is prevalent in a format. That, is not healthy. Shifter hurts a lot of decks in the game, and the ones that thrive off of it end up getting free wins to decks that don’t. That, is not healthy. That’s the same reason maxx C was banned, and even Maxx C had more counters than shifter. Shifter has 0 counters except the 1 off gamma if they use it on their turn.
@@rezzytheskyguy also I said unanimously because well, besides the banlist prediction, everyone is saying the same thing that I am. Look up any professional yugioh player who has a youtube channel and you’ll find it.

Why would they ban anything from Tenpai if they did not get the chsnce to be the top dog yet? They will remain untouched for sure.
SHS didnt get a chance and it was hit immediately because the cards were cheap and low rarity. Tenpai is cheap and low rarity.

ban IP over anima.. turn 1 needs to be weaker w/ all these generic link monsters.. prob wont happen but anima isnt the hit imo
