Hello Stivi, I'm Luca from Della Magna, you know already, but i'm never tired to tell you how normal colors become magic dreamlike underworlds when they are caressed by your brush, your fantasy and passion. I'm so honored by your care, Infinitely thank you.
Hello, Luca! It is always a gift to hear from you. I appreciate your kind words. The magic emanates from these glorious pigments that you made. I only did my best to capture their individual stories. If I may indulge, truth is, it is always a pleasure to paint with your watercolors. They are truly mesmerizing! Thank you for being here!
I agree! Green Gold is also an excellent mixing color, which makes the experience painting with it even extra magical. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the video. As always, thank you for being here! 🥰
Miss Stivi, this video is what color dreams are made of! From start to finish, I was just filled with awe. I don't own a Della Magna as I am a geezer on a budget but I plan to get some in the future. Thank you for showing me that these beautiful watercolors exist. That Chrysocolla is the most stunning I've ever seen. I am going to rewatch this video. It is so relaxing!
Mr. Calvin, I don't believe you for a second! Just kidding! There might be a more suitable way of describing yourself. Say, a man of discernment. Or, you have an excellent palate for great things in life and you believe that there's an opportune time for that. Pardon my indulgence but those are just some things that came to mind since "geezer on a budget" sounds a bit abrasive. You are far more valuable than that. ;-) I agree about Della Magna's Chrysocolla being the most stunning. Have you seen his Genuine Fra Angelico Blue? Here's the video if you haven't watched it yet, th-cam.com/video/RN2SC4DMpHw/w-d-xo.html
A lush garden of color. I loved this video and all that Della Magna has to offer in watercolor and unique pigments. Learned a lot about the pigments in this video. Thanks for the research! now i want to go paint the beautiful Pacific Northwest greenery around me!
Thank you! That's a fitting description, a lush garden of color. Maybe down the road, I can film a "sprawling" spread too. One that is filled with flowers and all sorts of earth tones from Della Magna. Your comment makes me miss the PNW landscape. Enjoy and happy painting!
What's not to like? Haha! They're uniquely beautiful! I feel fortunate that I had a chance to acquire Lacustrine Vivianite and Chlorite Genuine when they were still available at Della Magna. Thank you for watching!
Love the sap green think that it wil give nice mixes...the genuine malachite looks like the green I need for my tulips🤩 the last two colours are very intresting, they make me curious 😊thank you for this beautiful video❤
Fantastic! This mono-pigmented Sap Green from Della Magna is a personal favorite. Beautiful on its own, it's also an excellent mixing color. Thank you for being here! ❤
I share the sentiment! It's always touching to see how Della Magna firmly commits its studio to this noble cause. Thank you for your kind words and for being here. 😍
I just love the way you make these wonderful videos so relaxing and inspiring, Stivi! What a beautiful selection of greens! It must be such fun to experiment with mixing them! I was surprised at the granulation in so many of the pigments. Thank you for another lovely video, dear Stivi 💚🍃🦜🌴🌳🌲
I appreciate YOU, my dear Roxanne! It warms my heart to know that you enjoyed the video. These greens are so soothing and calming to look at. I can visualize them effectively rendering varying textures and depth, especially for landscapes that feature dramatic foliage scenes or thick boreal forest imagery. Thank you for being here! 🙏🏻🫶🏻
Thank you! I am in awe of this Sap Green too! Its light washes are delicately elegant, the mid-tones so mesmerizing and the darker values are bold and expressive. Thank you for watching!
Goshh those colors are super beautiful 😍 I'm sad that there're only a few mono-pigmented greens. But those greens really gonna fill the missing parts of my mono-pigmented color wheel, especially the PG10 🤩
@gouwsteven I always love having you here, Steven! People say that we need to "eat our greens" for nourishment and this video definitely fed and nurtured our pigment-loving soul! I'll message you about that PG10 crush of yours soon. 😍 Thank you for being here! 🙏🏻🫶🏻
Everything after PG10 looks so medieval. I would love to have seen a mix of the first two; PG8 and PG10. I think it would result in something nice. Thank you for another wonderful video.
I can empathize! It's challenging to appreciate PY129 (modern green gold) after experiencing Della Magna's PG10, the original green gold. The transparency is so wonderful and it looks so radiant or luminous, it is almost glowing. 😍
@@stiviwonders I bought egyptian blue, ultramarine pink, azo green yellow, magnetite(black), chrysocolla, american catilnite, cobalt blue, vivianite, quin gold, lapis lazuli afghanistan, sap green, selenite(white), han dynasty blue, violet grey, fra' angelico blue(sample), quin rust orange, stil de grain 😂😂 but I only opened few of them, because I want to 📷🎞 Will you put the packaging paper back after using it?
@jaspalette Wow, thank you for sharing! That is a glorious palette! I am excited to hear about all the joyful experiences that you'll have with these Della Magna Watercolors that you selected. As for your question, I love painting with Della Magna Watercolors so I maintain a healthy inventory of all his (Luca's) paints. Italy is far from the US so I do my best to keep extras, for painting and for filming. But I guess, if prior to filming you've already opened some, it is still possible to re-wrap them? Or, for the other unopened ones, you could also try to carefully remove the packaging so you could save the foil and could re-wrap the pan? Whatever you decide to do, I am confident that you'll find a way that works for your storyboard. And I'll be here eagerly waiting for your video launch. Thank you again for sharing and happy painting!

You make the most compelling swatching videos. They are an art form unto themselves. ❤️
Thank you! That is so kind! ❤️

Vivianite as a grey-green! Oh, boy, oh boy, oh boy! Ooooh and the Chlorite is such and interesting colour. Well, I like all of them.

As always, a beautiful video. The sap green stands out for me too; it would be useful to have one that gets as dark as this.

There are two types of people I don’t understand-people who don’t like coconut and artists that don’t like the color green.
@jeannes That cracked me up! Hahaha! I appreciate this good energy immensely. Thank you!
Stivi I’d love to know your favorite Malachite! I’m trying to decide between Dela manga and Esseeco
Hello! My preferred Genuine Malachite is from Della Magna. It is delightful to paint with. I hope this reply is helpful! :-)
@ so helpful! I’m happy I added it to my cart!
What happened to the Lapis Lazuli video?
I set the video to private. Please watch this video instead, th-cam.com/video/RN2SC4DMpHw/w-d-xo.html .
