    TRUE. Simplicity is so important. People push you off Balance. And you can't just do all these movements as if you will know what will happen. And Why? I have been in fights with some big guys. Who Rushed at me with their chest out and a simple Non Telegraphed straight Kick to the solar plexus was enough to have em looking like they shit themselves. And then you just walk away or run away. If what you are doing does not work for Multiple opponents it will not work for one opponent Realistically. It has to be fast, simple and direct even if it is of to the angle when the situation calls for. If you have that much space to move then Just Bail out of there. Why Bounce around someone? LOL and they catch up you have another location to move to or into to spread them out.

      Glasgow Blue Bear...No he's not ---I've spoken to Tommy on the phone too last month & he's too focused on the art to be the things you call him..........Fisticuffs guide , there are some body mechanics which work BETTER than others across the board as long as people train hard. That's no varying interpretation.

    Why is the blood choke no good? MMA fighters, jiu jitsu, and military use it.

      TC knows little to nothing about grappling. Thinks people don't need it.

      You've missed the point of scientific Streetfighting......To finish off an opponent in the street as fast as possible.....If you went to grappling on the floor you could be kicked to death by multiple opponents....Learn the difference between the Street with no rules & a sporting arena with rules.

      Sifu Michael......Actually Tommy HAS studied grappling techniques. He learned it from his Father who knew about military unarmed combat. His Father studied it during WW2 & Tommy learned it from an early age . He assimilated the ideas of people like Sykes & Fairbarn but the reason he now doesn't centre on the 'tech' of grappling is NOT because he hasn't studied it. He has jettisoned it because with JKD he has found SIMPLER WAYS of finishing off danger fast.

      It is - nobody really denies that. But it makes a lot of difference what you do with the left hand and forearm. If somebody really showed it that way, he is totally right it is not going to work.
      There is an air and a blood choke or strangulation. They work different ways.

      Saying that kind of choke is not good cuz they still can breath is offcourse talking about something that he not knows off. Choking that way can take you out in seconds.

      I‘m sry english is not my first language therefore the question. What is meant with “hand thread from your ceiling”? What is a hand thread...

    • @walterevans2118
      @walterevans2118 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@omerozkan4856 I think it might mean hang a string or piece of paper on a string from the ceiling & practice hitting it hundreds of times a day to develop accuracy.
