almost 10 years but this vid is the best by far from many vids i have watched! This one straights to the point, clear instruction, and great video angle setup!
Do you have a brand recommendation? Or does the type matter more? I heard that you mentioned platinum and someone in the comments mentioned iridium as good types. I ask because sometimes the parts I get from the local parts stores don't seem as good of quality as what my mechanic has access to.
I have a 2012 Mazda5 Grand Touring can you tell me where the PCV valve is located . if you're looking at the oil fill cap is it about 6 inches to the right of that
hugo lincoln i don't know if it is the exact same, I would just compare what you see under your hood to what is in the video. If it is a 4 cylinder, you should be able to do this yourself, very similar procedure, take pics if you need to and you should have no problems.
It depends on the quality of spark plugs you buy, standard spark plugs lasts about 20 to 30,000 miles and Iridium can double that. I change mine when start up take more than a couple of turns. My 2006 with 150,000 still starts up instantly as long as I change the spark plugs and air filter regularly.

Did you have the orange engine light on just before you changed it ? And did it turn it self off after you changed it ?
Excellent... my 2008 Mazda5 thanks you 😁
Thanks! 2006 Mazda 5... Same thing as this?
Why no anti-seaze when going into aluminum? Low risk upon removal.
