- Nier Automata Anime Episode 1 or NieR:Automata Ver1.1a has a wild start and was a throwback to the game with 2b and 9s. Already an emotional start and nothing but more tragedy from here. Can't wait to hear more nier ost by Keiichi Okabe in this anime. 2b voiced by yui ishikawa mikasa's voice actor from attack on titan btw was amazing and ofcourse 9s voiced by Hanae Natsuki. I can safely say the anime made me happy. The soundtrack was on point the animation was on point hell even the voice fit the characters.
They know what they are doing with the game parallels. I love it. I'm also waiting for some of the deeper impact soundtracks too. And ofcourse hoping they it does well enough to receive a replicant adaptation

Though just for bit of context: Speedwagon-san is a criminal turned loyalist to a certain gentleman who helped Speedwagon. Speedwagon after the death of the this gentleman kept helping his family even though he found oil and became a billionaire. He set up a organization just to help this gentleman's descendants, i.e., even death can't stop him from helping.

I didn't care about how the ships were cgi, but when it switched to the angle where you could see a completely lifeless cgi character model in the ship I couldn't stop laughing.

If you played the game. This is definitely great to see on screen
If you have never played the game please do before the anime because some amazing aspects are only possible in a video game format. However I am very excited to see how this adaptation continues (and I love the puppets at the end mimicking the different endings)
