We were there last year and because of a massive fire that burned half the village down, we were unable to visit. We were told that they would have it completely rebuilt in less than a week! Truly, a self-contained community! And a beautiful part of Thailand! Thanks for sharing 😍
Thank you for being so consistent with your posts on both channels during all this pandemic. Your hard work is deeply appreciated by all your viewers. You’ve helped us so much
Wow the tsunami survival story was just incredible. I remember seeing the surge and devastation from the news back in 04 from the Philippines. It's amazing that through reading nature's signs none of them perished. Another amazing video Mark, thank you for letting us immerse in their culture through your videos. God speed. 😊 watching you from Southern California.
I missed living in a village...The life there is poor but we're happy with my family...I'm a Filipino, born & raised in a small vilage in Biliran Province but now working & living here in Metro Manila. I hope you can visit our province in Biliran & or in Leyte. There are so much nature has to offer like waterfalls, rivers, mountains & white sand beaches... villages & small cities...Thank you so much for this video. Watching from Manila
My lives on Phi Phi Island in the Andeman sea along with his lovely Thai wife. They were caught in the Tsunami but luckily the were young and fit and reached higher ground
You have my full respect Mark. Thank you for always sharing not just the food but also the people, tradition, culture, etc., of such place you visit. I really enjoy every part of your vlog. It makes me travel along with you as well. Keep safe with your family...
Ya eh guess that’s a problem of traveling that those privilege by already must respect. Also see this thou generally as conflict by those remote facing anyways by the invasion of modernization
Baby immigrant to Canada, who learned barely growing up thou realized as young adult, trying to reflect more in my forties how much the first persons, natives, Métis, Inuit went thru here It’s saddens me at moments watching these amazing worldly cultures because I question the absence of that. How may it look different here in Canada. And like those, what could we learn from them? It scary because under ruling of what should be leadership globally there’s many atrocities.. this creates trauma over generations yet I can still see the heart of all being good which has hope
I like how your expression can change quickly while your telling a story or info about where you're visiting. Seems very genuine to coincide with the situation.
