yeah, Eagle Owls are some of the more menacing species. Don't mess with me, is what their motto is. That's why I prefer the "nicer" or rather more docile ones, like Northern Spotted Owl, Tawny Owl, Barn Owl, and the Barred Owl. They tend to groom their children more and show more affection to them, but not so much Great Horned Owls or Eagle Owls. They are a bit colder towards their offspring and want them them to be more independent at an earlier age. They are still majestic birds in their own right. @@I-live-and-learn Like you once were? Nah i'd say you still are!
So cute the owls are probably not bored cuz they see him all day XD
@@Youp1e bingo
Could you imagine the views he would have gotten had he uploaded every few days! What a gift from the creator!
What’s so awesome is that he appreciates them! He is blessed to have them there and we are blessed because of him! How wonderful.
Yes 👏🏾 I
What a lucky man
Doesn’t have to leave his home for an experience like that
I for one love this guy. I wish that I could be as cool a human being as he is. Hello from New York City, Jos!
Because he loves publicity and hates what does not bring him that? Whoa.
@@I-live-and-learn lol wtf why are u so adamant on hating him
She's the crazy pidgeon lady
Angelina Souren Your brain is wired wrong...you're on some weird side of the spectrum. That you can't read Jo's personality from his behavior is on all on you. In saying that he hates pigeons, he is both being honest and admitting a FAULT. His self-reflection and criticism are obvious. He even knelt on stated that he constantly checks on the owls. He knows their patterns and can pick out if anything is amiss. Best proof of all is that the animals seem to trust him, if not at least be OK with his presence. Like I mentioned, check your wiring.
@@spankg888 Thanks for the LOLz.
This man is so blessed! These beautiful, noble creatures chose his window box! I'd never turn on the TV. I'd have a live show right outside the window.
Owl mom: see children this is a human in his natural habit-.... Billy stop tapping on the glass! You'll scare him!
Billy owl: sorry mom.
They are like little ghosts
Billy Owlish
Actually they probably are studying the man watching him every day 😂
Thats nuts, in Poland, where i live, eagle owls are super rare and if youd want to find one youd have to go to like, deep mountain forests.
They are extremely rare here too ( where this man lives, in the Netherlands )
@@StandardName562 he lives in Belgium
jeroen crabbe how do you know? I was wondering what his accent was. It sounds like something between Brabants and Zeeuws.
@@jannetteberends8730 Hij woont in Geel in België, en zijn accent is een mengeling van zijn oorspronkelijk Nederlands dialect (dat ik niet ken) en het dialect van waar hij nu woont, de Kempen ;-)
@Viggen theres been like 270-380 breeding pairs in 2014, theyre protected and so are their nesting sites, so there should be more now 😊
Blessed to have such an event outside one's window
He's so lucky, I'd be over the moon to be that close to owls, we hear them in the woods but never see them.
He said sometimes Mama Owl hoots right outside his window! I would LOVE that. I love to hear owls.
He honestly seems so happy to have his own little bird nest.
i would be too thats amazing
That is so cool. Mom trust him, she'll be back next year. 💜💜💜
Look at this mans artwork in the background! I would like a closer look at that too. They came to watch you paint!
Inquisitor Mhathue, I noticed it too. He does have a nice clean, organized studio area. Looks like most of his paintings are large floral abstracts, just my interpretation. (He definitely has some artistic skills). But why not try to paint the baby owls & mom during the few months they are living next to you. Soon they'll be gone, but you will always have your paintings. As a bonus, if the paintings are good, he could find some new customers among the bird lovers who watch this channel.
He's middle aged but speaking about them like an excited schoolboy.
Gpod news: You get excited about cool stuff for the rest of your life ❤
You only ever have to be as grown up as you decide to be.
I'd be too!
Middle aged crisis
You should see my dad talk to his tiny aquarium fishes. He's 74 haha. And Dutch as well.
What a blessing
Jos “it’s like having a movie going on all the time”
🦉 “move out of the way I can’t see the tv!”
Omg the eyeballs lined up in the window behind him 😂 0.03
The mother is so beautiful, and the chicks look so funny when they walk XD
so cool one in a million to experience this
Trillion billion, maybe.
Maybe the only person on planet 🌎earth
Yeah, one in a million would imply over 7,000 people have eagle owls living outside their window. One in billions is probably a better estimate 😊
@@Jesse__H Good maths 👍👍
I’m working at home so this would be a dream come true for me. Imagine those little cuties keeping you company all day.
They're thinking, "Why's he watching tiny people in a box? How'd they get in there?"
This is amazing. He's incredibly fortunate and I love how excited he is.
I'm so glad they chose his window box. Would have been such a shame if it had been someone who didn't appreciate them. I hope they do come back every year.
Wonderful man who appreciates how incredibly lucky he is.
This is incredible what a lucky guy! He’s going to be so sad when they grow up and leave 😭
Valerie Edwards but they might come back! My cousin has owls 🦉 on the roof of her house, and they come back every year
@@mathildewesendonck7225 every what?
Danzignan every year, sorry 😅🙈 For 8 years now
i imagine that when the owls don't stay there anymore he'd feel the same sadness human parents feel toward their own kids who've grown up and moved out. kinda makes me emotional for some reason
"Empty nest syndrome" ... aptly named
They’ll come back, it’s free real estate!!
the full grown owl just chilling in the background is only mildly terrifying
Yea that’s honestly the only thing I find creepy about owls. The fact that when they look at you it’s as if they are looking into your soul
Imagine at night. 👀
@@taymangaming it is eerie... When we lived in a more rural area, there was an owl who made him/herself at home in our eucalyptus tree.
His favorite branch was by my window and I would sit by the window hoping to catch a glimpse of it.
They camouflage so well but after a while I saw it.
Staring back.
That was spooky.
yeah, Eagle Owls are some of the more menacing species.
Screech Owls are like miniature versions of the Great Horned Owl, but they too can be handled more easily.
This is just wonderful! What I wouldn't give to have some owls to watch grow up outside my window.
Please show more as they grow , would love regular updates ❤❤❤❤
WOW! Don't know what kind of fertilizer he used, but if it grows giant owls, I want some!
Johnny GeeWiz76 like in those cheap clickbait ads popping out in swarms in the Internet:

I’d be so unbelievably attached to that gorgeous owl family that I’d definitely be crying when the owlets grow up & leave as if they were my own babies!!
What a special gift and blessing to be a part of their lives. Super leuk !!
Reminds me of this red-tailed hawk that always used to come by and watch Star Trek TNG with me through the window.
Wow look at her just watching you, and those chick's are huge, he is so lucky, what an honor...
Some people are just so lucky. This gentleman is an example of that. I envy him.
Simply amazing! Thank you so very much from mid-Missouri USA ~

What a blessing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s so beautiful💯 he’ll be sad once they fly away because he’s so attached to them 😢
Lots of people got big houses to care and keep Owls at home and free. Most failed and us who wanted Owl have nothing thanks to men like this man.
Dutch: oehoe
English: Eurasian eagle-owl
Thanks!
