That black beach looks much like the black sand beach in Hawaii, it even made the same sound when we walked on it. The main difference is that the grains were much smaller, almost like regular sand; except that even the smallest grains were very round and smooth.

No, we tend to pack about what we would for a “normal” cruise and plan to do laundry onboard the ships.
Good lord I am so glad I rented a car and didn't take a tour. You all drove right by like 25 things.
Just more to look forward to next time. Only so many hours in a day. We really enjoyed what we saw. But thanks for letting us know.
