    That donor truck is paying off big time! Not just money saved, but they’re real Ford parts.
    I can relate, to your $8000 pressure washer story. That’s why my wife always wants to go with me, to buy parts!😁👍

    • @805ROADKING
      @805ROADKING  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah Buddy!! The truck still has enough good parts left that I should be able to sell it and at least break even!!☺

    That truck is so nice it deserves a carport! I always liked carports... When I was younger restoring my cars we would drive over to Sambucci Bros. across from Shea Stadium and the owners would let us strip a car like what we had then we would bring the parts up to him and he would say "Ten bucks". We were so happy saving a ton of money! =D

      I wish I could put up a carport!! I'd put up two of them but the Township won't allow them and I live across the street from the Municipal Building!!☺

    I unboxed a second-hand mirror for my Jeep, just before watching this, I was in the mood for looking at 'new' old parts. 😁

    A lot of people don't realize how much work it takes to get a vehicle back into shape.
    That Aero is a good looking bike 👍

    I think you are talking about the VT1100C3 Honda Shadow Aero, produced from 1998-2003. I was never much into motorcycles myself but I remember riding pillion on a road trip just over 100 miles each way. My buddy was a physicist and knew all about the slingshot effect they use to accelerate space craft around planets and said that going around a roundabout with me on the back made for a great practical demonstration. Have to say it was a lot of fun burning along the little windy roads we have over here, in glorious sunshine. Great memories.

    I watch all of your videos and enjoy them very much. Your quality of finished product always impresses me. I really appreciate your ability to pick and choose where to put in extra and where things will be good enough and still get premium results. Also, I can relate to your 8000 dollar pressure washer. Years ago I went to a dealership to buy an AC compressor for my pickup and went home with a brand new mustang...and a compressor.

    Boy that truck is really going to be nice loved seeing all the parts. Your pressure washer story reminds me of my next door neighbor who was like my grandfather to me he is passed away now. He went into a marina store one day to buy a new fuel line for his boat ended trading his aluminum boat on a beautiful 18ft brand new Black and Silver metal boat. LOL

      Yeah Buddy!! The leaves and moisture tore up most of the cab but the bed had a cap on it and that was in pretty good shape!! It's a long bed and I was gonna shorten it but decided to continue fixing the one on my truck!!☺

    Swish some Redkote around on the inside of that tank it works and its easy. Just pour it in swish it around for 5 min. or so and pour it out. It will dry hard and it works good. you can reuse what you pour back into the can.

      Nah that was completely shot!! Mike got his Borescope out so we could check it out and he started laughing!! I said is it really that bad, then he opened the door and threw the seat forward revealing the fuel tank and the complete top was rotted off!!☺

      @@805ROADKING I guess that the cap was left off, seeing how the rest of the interior was in good shape.

    I'll take a guess as to what happened to the bike. Someone offered you $5 more than what it owed you and it's fate was sealed, there n then lol. Cheers RK.

    I was saddened to see that you declined to work in the rain for our entertainment. This just shows a low level of commitment and general lack of fortitude. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I voice my disappointment at your refusal to risk pneumonia for your audience. I hope we won't have a repeat of this behaviour in the future! 😜
