How true!! Even after I finished all the body work, glazing and sanding I went back and redid a small section I didn't like!! I didn't film that part!!☻
That weld for the tank looks like a continuous electrical weld done with roller instead of a spot. The seams when we weld the steel coils together on the plating lines at work look similar and that weld is done with copper rollers and a bunch of current. Watch it because if it is the steel right on the weld will be much harder. 🙋♂😊
Fantastic body work RoadKing ! BTW: Where do I buy Fosforic Acid? I Need to apply to my 49' International Pickup "fire wall." To get the rust out of the pitted surface, B4 body puddy. Oh, and Happy 2025 ! ...Newk from Kentucky
Thanks Newk!! Happy New Year Bud!! You can get Phosphoric Acid from Home Depot or Lowes!! www.lowes.com/pd/Klean-Strip-Concrete-and-Metal-Prep-1-GAL/1001456348

Thanks for the info Matt!! Never came across anything like that before!! All I know is it warp the hell outta that hood!!☻
@@805ROADKING Probably took a good chunk of current to guarantee a fuel tight seal, would have heated the seam up quite a lot.
"But...uh...when ya start lookin' at it." Yeah, that's when things usually start falling apart. LOL
I think that's why I don't look that close at them at first or I would never take on the job!!☻
If you hammer it in the right places, you could get some tunes out of it like a steel drum... :P
Yeah Buddy!! Lil' Dirtbike could play that Hood!!☻
You start talking about molecules and I was looking for my dictionary!
I was trying to sound like 95% of the other Tubers that don't know what the hell they're taking about!!☻
Just paint it. Leave the dents its all parts of its life..

Don't paint it too nice, that will make it look like it isn't an antique tractor. Perhaps a modern reproduction, probly from China.
