Really like the idea of the bag converting to a ridgeline organizer. It's got me thinking of sowing some loops on my DD hammock stuff sack and doing the same.
i really like the design and features of this hammock! i have a onetigris tent that is really well made so i think im going to try this hammock as my first one
Yeah its a great feature ful hammock ive not managed to camp in it yet... but had a detailed look at it before i got to do the video. Hope that came across
Hi Scott, great review and video of the one tigris kompound hammock, I have been a hammock camper over 20 years and have a lot of different ones, so after watching your video I was so impressed I ordered one and it arrived today, can’t wait to try it out, I may go to the woods tomorrow just to set it up and try it. The tree hugger straps that came with mine are OD green but quite thick with about 14 loops (around 7 feet) each, so easy to adjust, so thanks again for the video, you and Dan keep em coming, take care, Paul B.
Thanks brother, i really appreciate that. Hope you're well. Hoping to keep the content flowing depends on locality really. Glad to hear you were impressed with my video im happy with how it turned out. Thanks for your support
Just received mine today and it looks like onetigris have listened to reviews regarding the daisy chains on this video it has 4 loops on one end and 1 on the other but mine came with 15 loops on one end an 1 loop on the other still only one side zip on the fly net
I’ve got this hammock and I love it. I think I paid £40 about 5 months ago and for that sort of money I can’t fault it. I haven’t put to the test how water proof that internal membrane is, but I can tell you it does retain a fair bit of body heat. Onetigris has been getting some stick lately (and perhaps rightfully so) but there’s no denying they turn out some pretty cool kit that doesn’t break the bank.
@@OscarOutdoors22 Definitely seems good value but I'll stick to my Hennessy Explorer. Not perfect but the best I could do with short notice when a rip developed in my last hammock. 😅
Thanks Luke mate, appreciate that. No learned to just relax most videos are shot in snipets of 1 takes now.... if i mess up... it goes in the vid.... Thanks for tbe support brother!

That was a well done demo A lot of features and well designed. WWll Canadian sailors had canvas hammocks and would use a cut piece of hockey stick at each end of their hammock . This would flatten out the hammock a bit to stay cooler in the summer. No sticks in the winter as the hammock would be like a cocoon to keep warm Can you imagine the rock on the hammock at sea! Take care 🇨🇦 ❄️
There are some great features I've not seen before on that one Scott, thanks for sharing. I particularly like the zip up additional cover. Brave man doing all that in the snow without a tarp up. I did chuckle each time the tree dumped some snow on you lol, sorry! Atb fella, Paul
Hi Scott, I own this hammock, and the only thing I personally would change is I wish Onetigris would make the same hammock in a longer version. I'm 6 foot 2 inches tall, and it takes a bit of adjustment/moving around to get comfortable.
Yeah definitely the only down sound to it is its a little short and has a designated head end. But ueah definitely worth a punt.. just hope nothing goes wrong as you never get a response from 1Tg
I just can't see it being as comfortable as a longer, wider hammock. I can't manage with most of those we get in the UK, I sleep almost full time in a hammock too. Some good features though.
Yeah homestlybits quite surprisinglu comfortable. The dame length as mine with a Structural ridge line in. So the sag material must be longer. Some great features

Good informative vid Scott. I use the DD XL but have been looking for a lighter, smaller option. Looks like it's got a lot of (actually usable features). Price seems pretty good too. It's a shame that lone wolf and onetigris parted waves, sure things are a lot more complicated back stage than you see on a TH-cam vid. Stay safe mate
Yeah im sure both sides have further tales to tell. The only negative i could see long term is the length is only 8.5ft, so difficult to obtain a flat diagonal lay. Could cause issues if camping more than 2 nights. Other than that. An extremely well thought out bit if gear

Isnt the double layer for a ground mat
Not from what i read up on mate.. but i suppose you could use it as that with tieing the suspension up
Does it have loops around the outside to attach a DD or Snugpak under-blanket?
You could use the guy line tie outs to comnect an underquilt butbit doesnt have purpose built ones.
