The best thing is there's no mistreatment of the raw material there, it just puts a filter on all of it that we all saw in the show but wasn't there. I can't even tell if I'm a fan of Peaky Blinders or just see the show as a way to get to all those scenes. Fucking brilliant.

He was the only person Tommy voluntarily told about his illness. A weirdly lovely character relationship.
Strange thing is, Alfie says 'I'll give you 35%, rather than 'I'll take 35%' before they shake hands on a deal. Tommy has already rejected giving Alfie 65%. Surprised Alfie didn't shout 'Aha, got you' after they shook hands.
