I agree on the heating. Its not frugal to scrimp on heating if its going to cost your health long term. We have a fire, which i guess isnt that environmental. But its pretty good value as husband orders the wood in early autumn when its a good deal
Whats working for me is only GROCERY shopping on mondays. Its all the stuff on my meal planning. Ive been keeping my receipts for 6 weeks and i now know how long the big ticket things last so i can facter those into the weekly shops. Effectively no spend food days 6 days a week.
Im so sorry to hear you got hit! Sh#$! It was always my fear when i used to bike to work. I didnt stick with it, i always thought it could be the day i die. Just too scary. And my neighbour got hit on our street, it was horrific. Honestly its not worth it in auckland, too many reckless drivers.
Hi Laura, nice video! Personally, I find the advice to clean only with bicarbonate and vinegar, which cancel each other out, very ridiculous. Ok, vinegar has a slight bactericidal and anti-limescale effect but bicarbonate of soda is absolutely useless: it doesn't disinfect, it doesn't clean, it's practically a SCAM. Many "frugal" channels always recommend this absurd method to "clean", unfortunately. Regarding your list, I agree with you on many things, especially the hair🙂
I would love to see more of Bailey, maybe on a walk with him, I'd love to see where you walk him.
Oooh maybe a little doggy walk vlog, I'll have to try plan it!

The cost to health is SO true, if you can afford the heating, it's so worth it, and being smart buying wood when it's cheap!

If I urgently need something then sure, will get it, but I add the receipt to my weekly page do it goes on the total and all accounted for.
Love that!

It was really terrifying - It's so sad we can't safely bike

Lol, I do use vinegar for some things, and baking soda for others, but when people add them together, it always makes me laugh 🙂
