My sales have definitely been down, but I attribute much of that to post-Christmas, I mean how can you beat the Christmas rush? Plus, I figured my more coveted items have sold already, so it's partially old stock / less desirable items left. I'm moving some of my products over to Amazon FBA. Not too worried about sales overall, just getting more coveted inventory. Thanks for your videos. I know you're an up and comer relative to some other big names on TH-cam in this space, but I rank you highly on how you educate others. Highly personable and informative.
I’m top seller too ,daily 20+ and it STILL SLOW!!!!! Multiplatforms(sales-ok)good items and all internet advice did well…..but still slow!!! There is definitely another secrets .Or Ebay starting to die.

Hey Samson, just wanted to know, in average, how many minutes you normally take to list an item in your store? I sometime take up to 2 hours just for one listing. Does this mean i am really slow?
Hey, for products that I have imported the total time it takes me to design and import a listing is between 15-20 mins generally. For reselling products it probably only takes around 3 mins total.
@@izrultwocents sometime you can click “sell one like this” if the item has been sold like this and then it will fill in most info and you can just edit what you need to if anything
My sales are all over the place but I’m just sticking to the plan. I think the most important thing to do is to “trust the process”. Keep listing, keep making improvements; keywords, item specifics, photos, descriptions and don’t be afraid to change your niche. My niche was one thing but I’m changing it. I opened up a brand new reseller store and I’m listing a ton of stuff every week. I’ve definitely been inspired by yourself, Chris Lin and Technsports. At the moment my reseller store has a loose niche of retro/geeky stuff such as vintage video games, vintage Lego sets and kitsch t-shirts. But I’m going to go all in with clothing as it has a broader appeal. I need to give my original store a bit of love though. It’s a replen store and it’s a bit of a hodge podge. I feel like I’m burning hours away when I start looking for alibaba products and come up with nothing. Very difficult to find good items with low/no competition.

Thank you for the information. My sales are back up again. Of course they fluctuate. I sell the same type of item, art work and in particular the ACEO's so I can list new paintings quite fast as I use the sell similar. I also sell some larger paintings as well. I have a basic store and use the promotions all the time at just 1%. I don't have too many in auction, the rest are in good til cancelled and I watch the time period of those as I don't like them to go more than 3 months, then I cancel and relist. I try to have over 100 listed although sometimes it's hard to keep up since many customers will buy many at once so my inventory can get low at times. I have 126 followers at this time. I do need to change my main description though as that might help. Thanks for the tips. I will have to watch morer of your videos.

Pez, Car brochures (couple thousand of) , collectable toys, some car accessories, etc.. You had mentioned in another video to start with 10 items. Thanks for the tips! I'd like to know, do you have any tips specifically about handling false SNAD returns? I.e buyer says item not as described but is exactly as you listed? Apart from being as explicit as possible in your listing, is there any way to dispute this, or do you just factor this in as a cost of business?
Yeah unfortunately this is something of a cost of doing business on eBay. You can definitely minimize it with accurate descriptions ect. but it is something that you do have to account for.
Hi Samson, I am 13 and reselling video games. The account is from 2019 and recently it’s been saying that I need to update my account to avoid issues with payouts. There isn’t anything I need to change. It then asks me to upload photo id which I have in a passport but nowhere else. If I upload my passport picture, they will probably ban my account because I’m to young to sell on the app.
It seems to me the "Full Time" Ebay sellers All or Most Have TH-cam Channels and Making That TH-cam money ....Honestly They should tell the truth...What they should really say Ebay & TH-cam is the only way to be "Full Time" reseller....They don't want to tell people to start a TH-cam Channel because of more competition.....PS most have multiple platforms they sell on......

I am running a sale of 10-15% off at the moment until end of January and it has helped my sales alot.

Yeah clothing is great because there is such an abundance of it. I agree, focusing on one niche is the best way to scale for most sellers.

How do you set up managed payments? Is this using the bank instead of paypal?? thanks, "long-jon"
eBay will send you an email when your account is eligible to switch to managed payments.
do you have to have a store to use terapeak research?? I don't (yet) have a store, but have been selling on ebay for a long-jon time!!
Yes, it is free with a store subscription.

Yeah, clothes have been slow for me also recently. But as you said, January often is.

I would keep them turned on. If you want you can turn on auto-decline to deter lowerballers.

Is actually nothing you can do, after many conversations with eBay customer care I just ended to block the buyer and report the false claim to eBay.

Are you able to change the details to a parent's? Then upload their photo id.

Possibly, its hard to say off just a single instance. Maybe just a slow week. Either way you can still easily rectify it with consistency.

Max out you limits. Contact eBay about it, get them to raise the limit. Rinse & repeat.
