The rawness of your videos are amazing to show the true reality of early pregnancy. You are doing amazing and Jay is a godsend for you and the support he is giving you, you couldn’t ask for anyone better for you and your girls. Love the honest truth and you are doing amazing 💕
We are with you Poppy, you have got this, you are so so strong. Don’t apologise for anything, concentrate on your mental health and getting through everyday. Brighter days are coming, we will all pray for a better 2nd trimester ❤️
Bless you. Your followers will really appreciate you being so open and honest about everything. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that the sickness eases ❤
Aww Poppy, I so sympathise with you. I had HG with both my two, both until 25 weeks and it was horrendous. I spent most of from 12 weeks until 24 weeks in hospital on a drip with both as I got so thin and week. I was depressed and down and sooooo fed up, especially when I had a 14 month old to look after. I didn’t want to bathe and I lived in the same trackys for 4 months. My health visitor said I needed glucose. I boiled water and put two teaspoons of sugar in it and sipped it throughout the day as that’s all I could keep down. This was the only thing that kept me alive I think 😞🥲 wishing you the best of love and luck and I pray you get over it really soon xx
Can see how emotional you are talking about how you’re feeling🥺 praying things get better for you really soon, don’t feel like you can’t complain, I’m 20 weeks and feel the guilt but to be honest it’s a difficult journey too. Keep going, one day at a time x
Never apologise for being open and honest about your struggles, this is what this platform is for to chat, vent, cry, laugh and hopefully your followers will pick you up a little, big hugs poppy ❤❤❤
Bless you Poppy, im with you girl. I’m 7weeks+3days and I feel so so nauseous everyday, it’s so draining. I’m so grateful to be pregnant but I am struggling with the feeling sick and being sick. Really appreciate you being so honest! ❤
I just want to give you the biggest hug. You can see how emotional you are. 😢 you'll get through this. You're stronger than you know. Sending lots of love xx❤
Oh darling I will go to bed and honestly pray for you tonight that it eases up for you! Last year from week 7-15 I wasn’t sick apart from when brushing teeth but felt it 24/7 so I cannot imagine how you’re feeling plus 2 girlies to look after! I’m so glad you shared with us so you can express how you’re feeling! Keep going girly 💪🏼 as you already know they will be worth it 🤍🥰
You’re beautiful! I love not only how real you are but how authentic you are to all of us. Love you poppy! Your number 1 kiwi fan. Look after you! Thank you for helping us more than you know. From your number one kiwi fan. Love you guys and love to talk to you both someday to help others xx
I totally sympathise with you I had really bad sickness all the way through with both of mine and it does wipe you out and make you feel awful. I’m glad you’ve got the support and hope it eases off soon for you. I used travel sickness bands they helped a little with the nausea but didn’t take it away all together. I hope you find something that takes the edge off x
So brave sharing your journey. You're doing great! ❤ I've not even had any children.. I can't even imagine how this must feel, but I just wanted to say you are a champion of all champions! And you are doing amazing ❤
I love this content, relaxed, chill and simply just keeping us updated on your life. Don’t feel rushed to get back to work when you’re feeling like this, all us mothers completely understand what it’s like. I’m 20 weeks pregnant and still vomiting unfortunately and I have 1 year old too so she doesn’t understand what’s going on. Hope you feel better soon and can get back to somewhat of your regular routine. Sending lots of love and support your way! 💖
Thank you so much for sharing this & bringing awareness to this because I really struggled with this until 20 weeks & I felt so bad that I wasn’t enjoying my pregnancy but this is the reality for some of us!
Sending you a big hug! I've just turned 22 weeks and have just come out the other side of extreme nausea and sickness. Take as much time as you need and don't feel guilty about complaining because it is so, so hard ❤
Please keep on with the updates Poppy! Were a couple of days apart with how far along we are and I’ve been so ill too, it’s nice to have a comfort of how someone else is going through it too at a similar time 🙏🏽 Hoping you feel better soon👶🏼🤍
Totally know how you feel. I had HG with my 2nd. Was hospitalised twice. Was absolutely horrendous. I really hope you feel better ASAP!! Honestly do not worry about vids right now. Concentrate on getting better ❤❤❤
I had HG with my first little girl and then HG with my second which actually ended in miscarriage at 12 weeks. It’s so lonely, I appreciate you speaking about this xxx
So glad that you are sharing your journey. I love when ppl do this it makes me feel part of the family🤣❤️congratulations again and wish you all the best on your amazing little hour you🥰🥰
I’m right here with you with every single thing you’ve said! Such a relatable video and I feel for you so much I’m 14 weeks and still can’t keep anything down it’s my first pregnancy and it’s so nice to see the reality that others are going through the same thing too! Would love more pregnancy updates when you’re up to it! Love you all loads you’re doing great! ❤❤
I’m at 16 weeks right now with my third and only just getting better, slowly but surely. The only support I had was from my husband, as we live away from family. Hang in there. It’s a lot, especially with two toddlers, and trying to move out into a bigger space, but it’s not impossible and it will go by.
Aw girl. I’m 37 weeks now with my first baby girl and i was horrendously sick from 5 weeks to 28 weeks and lost over a stone. I feel so much better now. You’ll get through it 💗
I’m a new viewer, I couldn’t just watch this and not at least say something 😢 I’m 17 weeks with baby number 2 and have felt so nauseous this time around a complete contrast to my pregnancy with my little boy, I’m lucky enough where I can count on both hands the times I’ve been sick and I’ve found it SO tough! I can’t even begin to imagine how much more difficult and intense it must be for you, being sick alongside feeling sick as well. I’ve just gotten anti sickness medication and wish I’d have got it sooner. I really hope your sickness calms down and you start to feel better it’s heartbreaking to see someone struggle so much. Never feel like you can’t say out loud how much you are struggling. I was on the flip side years ago 10 years ttc and would be envious of women who were pregnant and it annoyed me they complained but having experienced nausea daily for this amount of time I’m angry at myself for even judging those poor women. Pregnancy is amazing, and we are lucky to carry babies but it dosnt take away how difficult it can be and I know I’m still lucky compared to some woman and how badly they find pregnancy. I’ll be thinking of you x
I can see so many people have said the same thing however I’m going to repeat it… I just want to give you a massive hug!!!! You can see how drained and emotional you are and it breaks my heart to see you struggling 💔 I feel like you need a massive cry! Yes it is such a blessing to be pregnant but it’s also ok to not be 😘 Stay strong mumma and remember to ask for help when you need it. I really hope your sickness improves for you soon 🤞🏽 xxx
if it makes you feel any better, you aren’t the only one suffering in a pregnancy. i am currently 21, almost 22 weeks pregnant & i’ve been having nausea, headaches, migraines, back ache, aches and pains along with heart palpitations every single day- i feel like my body is shutting down, and it’s the scariest thing ever. i already have a 14 month old, and his pregnancy wasn’t half as bad as this so i wasn’t prepared to suffer to this extent 😩 it’s such a miserable time, i know i’m blessed to be carrying a baby and the baby is so beyond loved already but my body is not coping with growing her 😢 i can’t wait until i can just birth her so this pregnancy can be over with, and i can just enjoy my new baby and hopefully feel back to my normal self again. so you’re definitely not alone, and thank you for speaking openly about your pregnancy struggles. pregnancy is bloody hard for some of us, and i’m so happy that it’s getting spoken about more ❤ i hope you start to feel better soon xx
Really hope it goes away soon. I have 2 children and I had it the whole nine months with both of them. I always wanted 4 kids but I just couldn’t put my body through it again. You’re doing amazing xx
Ah I really feel for you, I had hyperemesis on both of my children until the birth and it is EXHAUSTING. Take time to yourself and look after yourself, this will pass xx
Hope you feel better soon , don't be sorry for not filming we will be here waiting when you feel like you can film again . Maybe it's a boy lol 😆 Good luck with your new sickness treatment xxxx
I'm so sorry to hear that you are suffering so much I'm sure that every little thing is gonna be alright !!!! I think of you all All of the time Take care Love Chris
I feel for you! I suffered with HG 3 times. I had bigger age gaps with my 3, I couldn’t imagine how you could cope with two toddlers and being so sick 😢 I couldn’t get out of bed most days at the start of each pregnancy. I was put on ondansetron after hospital stay and it was incredible, it didn’t disappear completely but it took the edge of and made life bearable! Xx
Hey Pops… awwww, I feel you as a mom of 3. I had horrendous MS with all my pregnancies and tried everything!! I’m no expert but I found the only thing that worked for me were those bands you wear on your wrists for seasickness. My parents had been on a cruise and my mom suggested I just try the ones she got as nothing was working. I was amazed tbh, it didn’t completely take away the nausea/sickness but it really, really helped me. Hope you feel better soon x
I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with a boy and my HG is still horrendous but Ondansetron is the best anti emetic you can get on. It doesn’t take all the sickness away but it’s the best one. I’m gonna say it I think it’s a boy 🩵 love you guys honestly so relatable and you both are so funny such a perfect pair! You’s remind me of me and my partner we can laugh for hours and joke around most of the time and it’s amazing! Keep it up guys big love from my family to yours! 🩷xx
I also have the worst fear of blood tests, please tell me how you’ve coped with them during pregnancies as its the one thing I’m dreading😩 you look amazing Poppy and I really hope you feel better soon ❤
Poppy, soothers really helped me. I’d pop a soother hard boiled cough sweet in. But the moment it’s finished I felt sick again so I’d go through packs and pack just keeping them in my mouth, that and smelling lemons
Poppy... Despite how you feel you look amazing and your mumming your amazing and doing a fantastic job. Your so lucky to have j he's an amazing dad. Stay positive feel better your both doing great. The girls are cutest too Rosa singing has to be one of my fave vids 😂😂
Aww, Poppy, I wish I could have given u my first trimester. I'm 16 weeks long and my first pregnancy. I had no symptoms at all. I've been really lucky. Hope it settles soon ❤
Ahh you’re really suffering aren’t you. When I became pregnant I had to stop breastfeeding…. It felt too weird. Like it was superrrrr sensitive. You’re really smashing it girl. Be super easy on yourself 💖✨
When I was pregnant with my first, I always have a mint gum with me. That really helped a lot with my nausea. With my second, it was worse! Like I can’t drink water, only iced tea or pineapple. The rest will make me vomit. I traveled back to the Philippines when I was in my first trimester alone and I remember how bad it was on the plane but I survived by using vicks inhaler and apple juice x Just to let you know, I was worse with my second pregnancy because I was having a boy! Maybe you’re having a boy as well pops!
Try ginger biscuits dipped in lemon water, or as horrible as it sounds when you feel sick a boiled egg. I had really really bad sickness with my first and was hospitalised and with my second I thought no chance am I going through that again so I tried every single thing possible that people suggested and those two I've just said really did work x
Not sure if you have tried Ginger? Can really help with sickness in anyway you can stomach it, ginger biscuits ginger tea 👍🏻 I hope it doesn’t continue for the rest of your pregnancy Poppy!🤞🏻 xx
Try drinking full fat coke it takes that sickness taste away and will help so much. My fiancée is currently 4 months and she had HG and it’s the only thing that worked. Hope this helps. Good luck
I had morning sickness early on and wish I would have known sooner but look up magnesium deficiency. I started eating cashew nuts and high magnesium foods. x
My daughter had severe sickness more or less through her whole pregnancy, she lost so much weight it was so concerning as she was tiny before she got pregnant. She was so small before she gave birth, used to upset me so much seeing her so unwell.
Have you tried sipping ginger beer non alcoholic ones obviously..I couldn’t have survived without it when I was pregnant…I hope it passes soon over the next few weeks ❤
Oh Poppy, I’ve had 4 pregnancies and 3 sons. Worse subsequently worse with each boy pregnancy. Just went on throughout and even for 2 weeks afterwards. Not in the position to suggest anything to help… just know I’m thinking of you at this tough time. X
This is why I won't have another, mine are 10 and 7 both girls and with my 10 year old I was in hospital over 25times on a drip was so poorly! I couldn't do it again it's harder looking after kids while so sick xx
I had to really force myself into some self care but felt so much better afterwards! I had to use shower gels and shampoos and everything that had no scent cause everything smelt awful!
Please please please ask your doctor about xonvea tablets. I was dying with it until 16 weeks and then took them - the morning sickness stopped immediately. Hope it helps x
Hey I suffer so bad with sickness in both my pregnancy was admitted until 15wks the only tablets that help me was Metoclopramide and Ondansetron taken together maybe ask the gp literally saved my life I was keeping anything down even drips of water on my tongue. Hope this helps wishing you the best.
You need to get ondansetron zofran tablets, I suffer terrible with hg, I be sick all day cant keep anything down and end up on a drip because I have ketones in my urine (dehydrated) then they give me these tablets and it all goes away. Have a look into them if you can xx
I had hyperemises until 27 weeks I kept having to go into hospital and have iv drip I tried cyclizine metoclopramide prochlopramide and odanzatron the odanzatron was the only one that needed up working really synthesise with you pops hope it calms down 😢❤
Barley sugar sweets are meant to be good just sucking on them migjt help sweet, l have been sick with all my kids l really feel for you hope you feel better soon xx
All I could keep down for weeks was melon 🍈 literally anything else made me sick it was crippling all I could do was curl up and cry (and vomit) and my boobs felt like I had blazing thorn bushes in them Sending love poppy ❤
I’m so sorry :( this is so shit, you’ve probs already done this, but my sister found the nausea bands that go on your wrists semi helpful when she was pregnant xxx
Might be early days but when I got to 3 months pregnant I still had morning sickness really bad where I just couldn't eat anything I was just in bed all day , the only thing that helped me was that my husband made me fruit smoothies with ginger , it gave me my nutrients back and slowly it did make me feel loads better , I started out with just small sips here and there but it really really helped xx ❤

Sipping lemon squash for me. If one more person told me to eat a ginger biscuit I wouldn’t have been responsible for my actions!
HG sufferer here, 33 weeks and still in the thick of it 😢

if it makes you feel any better, you aren’t the only one suffering in a pregnancy.
i am currently 21, almost 22 weeks pregnant & i’ve been having nausea, headaches, migraines, back ache, aches and pains along with heart palpitations every single day- i feel like my body is shutting down, and it’s the scariest thing ever. i already have a 14 month old, and his pregnancy wasn’t half as bad as this so i wasn’t prepared to suffer to this extent 😩
it’s such a miserable time, i know i’m blessed to be carrying a baby and the baby is so beyond loved already but my body is not coping with growing her 😢 i can’t wait until i can just birth her so this pregnancy can be over with, and i can just enjoy my new baby and hopefully feel back to my normal self again.
so you’re definitely not alone, and thank you for speaking openly about your pregnancy struggles. pregnancy is bloody hard for some of us, and i’m so happy that it’s getting spoken about more ❤
i hope you start to feel better soon xx
Really hope it goes away soon. I have 2 children and I had it the whole nine months with both of them. I always wanted 4 kids but I just couldn’t put my body through it again. You’re doing amazing xx

Xx

How are you so sick and still look so beautiful? 😍😱 I hope you feel better soon. X
I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with a boy and my HG is still horrendous but Ondansetron is the best anti emetic you can get on. It doesn’t take all the sickness away but it’s the best one. All the other meds do nothing!!
One thing I find that helps with the dehydration is lucosade and watery based fruits (melon / watermelon). And in the last couple weeks I have been having smoothies to try get some vitamins and fluid in.
Really hope it gets better gal - HG is honestly so incredibly tough so I really sympathise. The fact you are doing this with two toddlers speaks to how strong you are being.
Xxx
Sound quality was sooo much better ngl 💖
When I had HG from 6-16 weeks all I could stomach was ready salted crisps and ice pops, I feel your pain! Definitely try ice pops it’ll help with the hydration, there is nowhere near enough research and support out there for us when it comes to HG. I really hope you are feeling better soon❤
Awe pops I feel for you.hopefully it will settle soon xx
I hope you get better soon xxx
I’m gonna say it I think it’s a boy 🩵 love you guys honestly so relatable and you both are so funny such a perfect pair! You’s remind me of me and my partner we can laugh for hours and joke around most of the time and it’s amazing! Keep it up guys big love from my family to yours! 🩷xx

Get better soon
Ahh you’re really suffering aren’t you. When I became pregnant I had to stop breastfeeding…. It felt too weird. Like it was superrrrr sensitive. You’re really smashing it girl. Be super easy on yourself 💖✨
When I was pregnant with my first, I always have a mint gum with me. That really helped a lot with my nausea. With my second, it was worse! Like I can’t drink water, only iced tea or pineapple. The rest will make me vomit. I traveled back to the Philippines when I was in my first trimester alone and I remember how bad it was on the plane but I survived by using vicks inhaler and apple juice x
Just to let you know, I was worse with my second pregnancy because I was having a boy!

Poppy try consuming peppermint, ginger, lemon or cinnamon. They are really good natural remedies when it comes to nausea.
Try drinking full fat coke it takes that sickness taste away and will help so much. My fiancée is currently 4 months and she had HG and it’s the only thing that worked. Hope this helps. Good luck

Oh Poppy, I’ve had 4 pregnancies and 3 sons. Worse subsequently worse with each boy pregnancy. Just went on throughout and even for 2 weeks afterwards. Not in the position to suggest anything to help… just know I’m thinking of you at this tough time. X

Pregnancy is a blessing but you are allowed to moan about feeling shit! Hope it eases soon Poppy. sickness is the WORST!
