I'd really like to get a reliable safe lithium for a starter/house battery combo but I cannot find one that is solid. Always about half saying it works, half saying it doesn't with shutting down engines etc. (2022 built 2024 new yamaha f70) currently a 12v 100ah agm for all house and starter. 2 12v 100ah lithium on battery selector for the trolling alone.
Yeah, I just use a standard lead acid on mine. You have to check directly with the motor company on which ones work well. Word of mouth from the GP has proven unreliable.
Your video is outstanding. The AC voltage was what I was referring to at 9.26 ish in recording. The AC plug looks like a 220, 240 volt plug.@@TinyBoatNation
I saw an epoch batteries sticker at the beginning those batteries why in the world would you put those pro guides in over those I’m pretty sure I heard pro guide catches fire hella
I still have those Epoch batteries and we back them too. They’re going in a pontoon boat that needs that size battery. We serviced tons of people with per guide thus far with no problems. Pro-Guide isn’t better than Epoch, but they’re set up better for my boat.
Outstanding work loved it! Thank you!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
@TinyBoatNation np love your channel 👍👍
You can use a smaller outboard for charging lithium. You need to use a victron 12 12 dc to dc smart charger. It limits the current.
