You'd have to either BS Goku back to life, have the story take place on, like, Namek or Yardrat, which would have so many issues in of itself, or just tell the story at the exact same time that Goku is, like, planning to go to Namek (in which case why would he wait to go to Namek in order to go on a camping trip or whatever?) or do some other dumb thing to somehow fit it in Goku is just constantly too busy in the story for side stories to fit in. Only exception is, like, when they're training for the androids

But, right as goku has nearly given up hope, he sees all the energy inside of the tree of might, and realizes the only way to defeat Turles, is to beat him at his own game. Turles had used the power of the tree for evil, but he hadn’t fully weaponized the entire tree yet. He’d only used 2 fruit. Goku, on the other hand, uses the entire tree’s energy to create a spirit bomb so powerful it is capable of putting both Turles, and the tree itself to rest. He uses it for good. That was the difference between them, goku is Turles, but good, and Turles is goku but bad, their one in the same in a way, but completely different in another. Turles looks like goku because he’s meant to be the result of a goku that had never bumped his head.

My personal headcanon is that the earth guardian before Kami was the one who originally cultivated the senzu plant and taught Korin how to tend to it, considering how Korin has some sort of unexplained history between his tower and the lookout. 3:29 That's honestly a valid question. The Senzu Beans are pretty mysterious since we only know about what they do and who grows them. We don't know the origin of the Senzu Bean and how they're grown. Is Korin the only one to grow them because he knows the specific method to growing the beans and the beans can only be grown near his place, or is he the only one because he can't trust anyone else with the sacred information? And what would happen if you tried to grow them if you didn't know the method? Would it just heal the surrounding area or would nothing happen?
Considering that they mentioned the Senzu plant withering away in the future Trunks timeline and do nothing about it even though they had some spare Senzu beans left, I think the implication is that the plant is something magically irreplaceable and that the beans themselves are just byproducts that can't be further cultivated into anything.
My personal headcanon is that the earth guardian before Kami was the one who originally cultivated the senzu plant and taught Korin how to tend to it, considering how Korin has some sort of unexplained history between his tower and the lookout. Korin may perhaps know how to make more but lacks the ability to do so, or maybe he just only knows how to take care of it

Nah it wasn't the actual 'Power of Nature' Goku was just bein Goku. The Tree Of Might took all the energy of Earth, and compressed them into the fruit, which allowed Turles to Power up. So Goku just connected with the fruit, and took out the energy to make a Spirit Bomb with them, which considering how much one fruit increased Turles Power, That Giant Tree Full of Fruits worth of energy meant his ass was cooked.
