5 months ago, my grandad died a natural death, he was a painter, a family man and a huge inspiration in my life. On my Way to his funeral, on a Dark cloudy Day, i couldnt stop myself from playing this over and over on the 40 min car ride to the Church. Rest in peace grandpa, i miss u every day

What do you mean by interpretation? Admittedly I am not very well versed in this. I thought this was a person playing the music exactly as he wrote it? Aren't notes binary? This or that? How do you interpret musical notes?

I am listening to this after yesterday I got an email saying I got the job that I have always wanted my entire life. My life feels complete now I am so peaceful and proud of my self now ,and I hope everyone reading this gets to experience the same feeling one day.
Congrats! It is actually very ridiculous how we humans can get happy over something such as this that will probably will be one of the things that will waste our life but still, I'm happy for you.

My favourite piece of music of all time. Makes me wonder though how many ancient songs and melodies have been lost over time that could touch us deeply and emotionally.
The moment the first notes played, instant goosebumps. And after a moment, a tear rolled down my face. Years past and I’m still not sure how these type of things work but I can say that it feels like the notes are running trough my veins.

Sadly, these composers were in a time where there was no "recording". I would die if I ever heard the original songs played by the composers who made these beautiful pieces.
Classical is a special genre: you don't need the presence of the composer, because his music has been written, and will be played thousand times everywhere :D

Neden bilmiyorum ama bu parçayı dinlerken hayatım film şeridi gibi gözümün önünden geçiyor. Olacaklardan habersiz mutluluklarım , umutlarım , yıkıldığım anlar.. Hüzünleniyor insan doğrusu. Sanat da bu olsa gerek şimdiki gibi iki ahenkli ama anlamsız cümlelerden oluşanlardan daha fazlası.
Sene 2017 liseye gidiyorum o zamanlar okulumuz üniversiteye hazırlananları gezi amaçlı bir üniversiteye götürmüştü. Güzel sanatlar fakültesini gezerken müzik bölümünde bir hocanın piyanoda chopinin bu parçasını çalmasıyla başladı ona olan hayranlığım sonra tabi heryerde bu parçayı aradım durdum parçanın ismini unuttuğum için bir türlü bulamadım şimdi ise tesadüfen karşıma çıkmış olması o kadar güzel kiiiii.

Listening to this masterpiece in the middle of the Covid-19. Humanity is being tested in 2020. This music sort of reflects this fight against time. Sadness in the beginning gives away to reflection and awakening, then to hope.
You’re totally right about that, it explains the extreme disappointment that we as people are experiencing (especially musicians) with the not-well deserved cancellations of big events we were looking forward to as well as the seniors not being able to have their final concerts/football games/etc., and prom and graduation especially that they’ve worked a long time for! I threw fits at every single message saying how this/that was cancelled because my awesome ending to this school year all went up in flames because of something that isn’t our fault. This has been a time of lots of sacrifices we had to regrettably make even though we didn’t want to, and one that came together so quickly without warning! This year needs to change because so far it’s been nothing but sad and bizzare. I mean that about everything from the weird weather patterns to this!

@@forrestgump3111 though I can almost okay the whole piece now, when I first understood what chords are and used that concept to decipher fur elise by ear (still can't read a staff lol), I felt the exact same thing after getting the first line.. Like I'm a pro at piano. Like I could play anything. LOL.
I managed to learn how to play für Elise off by heart in a year when I was probably like 12 or 13 and I cba still play it now and now it takes me about a week to be able to play sight reading but as I don't play often (and self taught) it takes me longer these days but I'd live to learn and play this

Oh God, how beautiful you are, oh God, when you created this human being and created this musical miracle, it tired me to think about what Joban was thinking when he made and played this music.
The strangest thing always happens to me when I listen to Chopin's music, especially his most heart-wrenching pieces--I swear, at the most passionate moments, I can feel words accompanying it. Like a heartfelt plea, or a cry of despair. The exact words will halt at the tip of my brain like it's being shouted through a downpour, and sometimes I'll get shadows of words that when I grasp don't feel quite right...I always just assumed it was my mind trying to find another avenue for expression from the absolute flood of emotion, and wondered if the story I was being told was the same in Chopin's mind when he wrote it or something totally unique of my own. Maybe I'll never know.
All music, if done well and appealing to the right person, tells a kind of story through emotion that can be universally understood by the right people who "click" with it, but it's like as soon as you try to put words to it - it just doesn't work anymore. I get what you're saying. Music, just like art, is a form of communication and expression are words are far too limited to pinpoint.
When I read the comments of people touched by this music from all over the world I realize how Chopin has masterfully managed to bridge the differences between peoples and draw us all together to embrace our own fragile humanity. Now, go out and be the good in the world today, human. Let this beauty be a silent mirror reflecting kindness onto those around you. We get one chance at life, and we are all in this together........

However, people are breaking each other down without even realizing this beauty. If only we could say "we exist for each other, we exist to love and understand each other" in a common language, just as those sweet notes at the beginning of this beautiful piece tell us... Johannes Machiavelli yea probably... although a special mental state is required to write this kind of stuff. You can't just write a masterpiece on an ordinary day, with an ordinary inspiration. It requires something that turns you "high", in somewhat way of saying, and a very, very strong inspiration. I was just joking about that thing tho, and don't take that in consideration.

5 yıl önce küçüğüm olan kız kardeşimi kaybetmiştim. Chopin de bu eseri genç yaşta kaybettiği kız kardeşinin ardından bestelemişti bu sabah da sevgili annemi kaybettim, bu eser, her bir nota, piyononun her tuşuna vuruş, göz yaşı olarak içime içime akıyor. Sanki benim şu an yaşadığım acı ve hüzün için bestelenmiş gibi.

5 months ago, my grandad died a natural death, he was a painter, a family man and a huge inspiration in my life. On my Way to his funeral, on a Dark cloudy Day, i couldnt stop myself from playing this over and over on the 40 min car ride to the Church. Rest in peace grandpa, i miss u every day

What do you mean by interpretation? Admittedly I am not very well versed in this. I thought this was a person playing the music exactly as he wrote it? Aren't notes binary? This or that? How do you interpret musical notes?
@@daviboiify now I’m no expert but you can definitely put emphasis and emotion into a note / key . The emotion can be felt through the way you play. This pianist did a fantastic job in conveying this.
I am listening to this after yesterday I got an email saying I got the job that I have always wanted my entire life.

Neden bilmiyorum ama bu parçayı dinlerken hayatım film şeridi gibi gözümün önünden geçiyor. Olacaklardan habersiz mutluluklarım , umutlarım , yıkıldığım anlar.. Hüzünleniyor insan doğrusu. Sanat da bu olsa gerek şimdiki gibi iki ahenkli ama anlamsız cümlelerden oluşanlardan daha fazlası.
Sene 2017 liseye gidiyorum o zamanlar okulumuz üniversiteye hazırlananları gezi amaçlı bir üniversiteye götürmüştü. Güzel sanatlar fakültesini gezerken müzik bölümünde bir hocanın piyanoda chopinin bu parçasını çalmasıyla başladı ona olan hayranlığım sonra tabi heryerde bu parçayı aradım durdum parçanın ismini unuttuğum için bir türlü bulamadım şimdi ise tesadüfen karşıma çıkmış olması o kadar güzel kiiiii.

Listening to this masterpiece in the middle of the Covid-19. Humanity is being tested in 2020. This music sort of reflects this fight against time. Sadness in the beginning gives away to reflection and awakening, then to hope.
You’re totally right about that, it explains the extreme disappointment that we as people are experiencing (especially musicians) with the not-well deserved cancellations of big events we were looking forward to as well as the seniors not being able to have their final concerts/football games/etc., and prom and graduation especially that they’ve worked a long time for! I threw fits at every single message saying how this/that was cancelled because my awesome ending to this school year all went up in flames because of something that isn’t our fault. This has been a time of lots of sacrifices we had to regrettably make even though we didn’t want to, and one that came together so quickly without warning! This year needs to change because so far it’s been nothing but sad and bizzare. I mean that about everything from the weird weather patterns to this!

@@forrestgump3111 though I can almost okay the whole piece now, when I first understood what chords are and used that concept to decipher fur elise by ear (still can't read a staff lol), I felt the exact same thing after getting the first line.. Like I'm a pro at piano. Like I could play anything. LOL.
I managed to learn how to play für Elise off by heart in a year when I was probably like 12 or 13 and I cba still play it now and now it takes me about a week to be able to play sight reading but as I don't play often (and self taught) it takes me longer these days but I'd live to learn and play this

The strangest thing always happens to me when I listen to Chopin's music, especially his most heart-wrenching pieces--I swear, at the most passionate moments, I can feel words accompanying it. Like a heartfelt plea, or a cry of despair. The exact words will halt at the tip of my brain like it's being shouted through a downpour, and sometimes I'll get shadows of words that when I grasp don't feel quite right...I always just assumed it was my mind trying to find another avenue for expression from the absolute flood of emotion, and wondered if the story I was being told was the same in Chopin's mind when he wrote it or something totally unique of my own. Maybe I'll never know.

Perform this piece in the desert, on the mountain or anywhere else, the wildest animals come, put their heads on their knees and listen. However, people are breaking each other down without even realizing this beauty. If only we could say "we exist for each other, we exist to love and understand each other" in a common language, just as those sweet notes at the beginning of this beautiful piece tell us...

Johannes Machiavelli yea probably... although a special mental state is required to write this kind of stuff. You can't just write a masterpiece on an ordinary day, with an ordinary inspiration. It requires something that turns you "high", in somewhat way of saying, and a very, very strong inspiration. I was just joking about that thing tho, and don't take that in consideration.

5 yıl önce küçüğüm olan kız kardeşimi kaybetmiştim. Chopin de bu eseri genç yaşta kaybettiği kız kardeşinin ardından bestelemişti bu sabah da sevgili annemi kaybettim, bu eser, her bir nota, piyononun her tuşuna vuruş, göz yaşı olarak içime içime akıyor. Sanki benim şu an yaşadığım acı ve hüzün için bestelenmiş gibi.
