- Hopefully this video helps explain components by themselves and the importance of them. There's a lot of great components out there to farm for early-game players. I wouldn't spend all your time farming them if you're early-mid game, because unlike weapons, you can't increase the level of an already existing component you have. You have to go out and refarm another one at a higher level. I'd just look for good one that boosts your overall stats really high and then prioritize getting your ideal pieces you feel comfortable with.

So external components are not flat values. Its adds to your BASE def,hp,shield ect. So that means if you have 100 hp and have a mod that gives 200% hp then now you have 300hp then get an external that adds 400hp now you have 500 base and that 200% mod now means you have 1000hp. That counts for shield and def too. I had 50k def before i figured this out and put a external comp on thinking i would get 7k more def and when i put it on my def rose by 25k so just mess around with them and find what works hoped this helped.
You really should put on def and health mods I’m tired of people dying in boss battles.
But if you haven’t made it to hard mode, you shouldn’t be worrying about your components. Just put on the best one you have if you get new ones and they’re higher levels put them on. Don’t worry about what they are. Don’t worry about farming sets until you get the hard mode when you confirm level 100 items then you can start worrying about farming a set. I wouldn’t even worry about it then the first thing I would do is on the map click on whatever button takes you to the difficult mode level stuff select the component you want all the way on the right filter for that component this week the first and the third one I’m sorry this week the new week it’s the second and the fourth one I think last week it was the first and the third one and it will show you, the map location where everything in that zone has a chance to drop you a component whichever one you choose and there are three choices there’s that defense hit points and the I can’t think what the third one is. They’re not set items but they are gold and if you get the right perks on them, they’re really powerful and they will carry you long enough till you can start doing hard mode shit where you might get the pieces, but don’t worry about that shit until you get done with the story, you don’t have to complete the final normal boss in order to do it. In fact you shouldn’t worry about that final normal boss till you gear up and you get all your level 100 stuff but you certainly shouldn’t worry about what you’re using before you get to level 100 there’s literally no point in worrying about farming gear until you get to level 100.
Components should be HP, Defense and a different resistances for each piece I’m telling you you won’t go down if your modded correctly
For I went for the easiest to get gold components, and all four of my components have defenses the primary stats they’re all defense components. The second and third stat are resistance for the individual component. Each one covers a resistance and then of course the memory one is a double defense because they had another like 4000 defense roughly, so that one has resistance and defense. The other ones have Max 10 points so I’m gaining defense and hip points and resistance off each of them and like I said I have one that’s got role. I mean it’s maxed out. I don’t think the numbers get any higher on it, it’s a defense resistance but not a gold. I think that’s my memory one it has it has gold defense in the stats but it has purple resistance or I’m sorry assistance so I want gold resistance to have the possibility getting the highest number and they all certainly when you get the gold and get the highest ones they’re fairly big chunks of defense resistance and and hit points, that’s what I am doing and those will work on every single character so I don’t have to keep swapping them. I’m not that much of a max or that I’m gonna wanna have a different components set for each character that would get ridiculous in my engine, I would rather go with convenience of one set of components that are going to benefit every single character, I mean defense mitigate damage that has to be a multiplicative number right because it’s it’s reducing the damage percentage wise based on how much defense you have so defense in my opinion is the strongest survivability you can have hip points is also important because even with good defense, you’re still taking damage so you know what your shield is gone But the hip points are all the left and then to keep swapping around modules to cover resistances for whatever critter I’m facing to me that’s just a convenience thing so I will probably instead of using the right resistance mod are used to polygenic one with the resistance on the components, and I will max out that polygenic resistancealso gives a fair chunk of resistance against every element. I’m not saying I’m right about this. I’m just saying that I’m gonna do it regardless of how it turns out that’s what I’m gonna do.
Nice but they’re very difficult to get a four piece so you can impact a equip to two pieces if you can get them by getting all four pieces is rough and when you get to level 100 and you start grinding for gold components if you just start out looking for the defense or the hit points or or I forget what it is max hit points The defense and then the third one those are easier to get because there’s literally a location on the map this past week it was in the France. The first one was was in Kingston. I forget which zone it was but anything you killed in that sub zone that might drop a component would drop a gold component, or a purple component of that type the shit out of it and I did get my God role choice for that one. I got close to God role on the memory component, but I got defense with resistance and hit points on my first component the accessory one I think it’s called in any case those are in rotate every so many days so you’ll be able to farm one week one another week, but you shouldn’t worry about any of this shit till you get the level 100 if you get a two piece sack from doing interceptor battles great but the moment you have something of higher level to put on, just put it on so that you’ll keep getting better drops so you get the 100 it does matter the numbers will be higher if it’s got defense or have more defense on and so forth this is a Luder shooter until you get the max gear score of 100 keep putting on the better shit Every time you loot stuff put on the best stuff I just sorted by level and put on the first one in the block the only time you should not do that for your reactor actor what kind of worry about it because still you know you get a lot of skill flower if you’re meeting that first criteria the second and third criteria don’t matter nearly as much until you get the endgame, but the first criteria is a quite a boost and skill powerbut other components just put on the best one you have until you get the level 100 components then you can start worrying about getting exactly what you want

Hard mode should drop more!
Go to the map by pressing "g" then press "f" this place you will see reactors. Now you must filter them go to the very right of the filter section, and click on it the drop down menu will show your a few things. It will show you processor, auxiliary, memory, reactor, chip, this you will have to go through them one by one and see if they drop this week
Usually 2 locations and two parts drop on a weekly rotation.
This can only be done in hardmode
