I found your videos last year and watched them on repeat as I was designing my space. We've been up and running for 8 months!!! I'm excited about the studio owner community. Looking forward to connecting with you all. Thanks for what you've done and will continue to do!
Huge, my guy! I'm so glad the series has been helpful. Inspiring others to start their own spaces for personal or professional use has been the most rewarding part of doing these videos. 8 Months in how are things going? What do you have planned for this year?
@@TheStudioBusiness it's been going well so far. A few lessons learned along the way. This year the focus is on upgrading some of the equipment and 5x revenue.
Funny we got "almost" same logo but backwards.. Anyways I'm subbed and your video came across because I'm been doing a podcast for my friends and wanna build a studio for rental as well as photo/video editing "My office". great content and very helpful. Thank you man!
Honestly, I came across your channel and videos about a month ago as I was researching about doing a video podcast studio myself. Having watched your previous videos and seeing the growth to now, you’ve definitely inspired me even more. I will definitely be joining that waiting list. Much appreciated for sharing.
Love the videos, you and Omar Eltakrori were some of the individuals inspiring me to start my podcast studio about a year ago here in Phoenix. Jump to now and owning my own business has changed my life, thanks!
That's great! I'm glad the videos were helpful. I think what we are working on for the group is going to be really cool for other owners. We are looking forward to releasing it next month!
Not sure which you are referring to, but at the very start, you see some greyish ones on the wall. I actually don't think they are so much acoustic panels as just dividers we decided to put up. The actual acoustic panels throughout the studio are from Acoustimac.
Thank you for your video. I know you said not to start this business at your home. I have a 400square feet garage that i want to remodel. Should I go this route? Thanks.
Thanks for your vidéos, I loved them ! I’m building a podcast studio in France (Toulouse, southwest) and your advices are precious. For my first cameras set up I’m going with Panasonic GH5. I know sony has better autofocus, but with the price of one camera, I can buy 4 GH5. What do you think about this choice ? (And I know lightning and sound are more important 😂)
I know the GH5 has been a popular choice for video people and I'm sure it'll do fine by you also. Having a more capable camera isn't a huge deal with a setup like these. I think you'll be fine. Glad the videos have helped and good luck with your studio!!
This is very helpful information. I'm an entertainment attorney and own a 10,000 sq ft building that houses my law office and one other tenant for the moment. I have roughly 5,500 sq ft that I am exploring the use. I am considering co working and also a podcast studio which I think it could accommodate well. Can you share the size of your space currently and how many individual studios you have inside? Thanks for sharing your insight.
I think it's a good idea! I'd be happy to connect with you if you have questions about a build out. Our studio is ~1100sqft now and we have 4 podcast sets. It's pretty packed at this point. 5500 is probably more than you would need, but perhaps could consider coworking (creative people) AND the podcast spaces and make better use of it that way.
Thanks for the encouragement. I'm amazed that you can get that much in an 1,100 sq. ft space! That's good to know. Thanks and I'll be in touch!@@TheStudioBusiness
I honestly think you should find your new building, but keep this one because depending on your location, you might not get those customers back and as a marketing tactic if you find a customer that is happier at your current location instead of your new location, it can show more brand appeal
Thanks for the comment! You may be right. We have such a good deal here where we are now also... Even if we did expand to another spot, we may just keep this space.
Fantastic video, very informative and beneficial. I watched your other videos content this topic too and now I’ve taken the step to start my podcast studio. I’ve got my first client and I’m moving into an office in the upcoming weeks. I just hope I can go from 1 regular client to multiple. Nervous for the journey ahead 🫠
You're going to do well! Things started a bit slow for me as you can see also, but keep working and trying to get new people in the door and you'll make it. Just work out the kinks and keep doing great work. DM me if you ever need any help.

Great news to rebrand it to podcast community, subbed.
Congrats, Colton! Excited to see this new launch build out.
I found this channel while we were revamping our own podcast studio, and we LOVE the transparency and breakdowns of everything 🙌🏼
Glad it's been helpful! I got a lot more on the way. Hope your studio has been going well!

Love that you're doing this brother. A much-needed space for up and coming studio operators and creators. Joined the waiting list! Cheers!
Thanks Ozeal! We are looking forward to having you and continuing our chats =)
This is awesome! Really looking forward to this. I found your vids a few years ago and built my studio this past fall.

Glad it was helpful!
Wonderful progress!
This is great! Thank you 💥
thank you on this building today
Thanks for making these. Curious where I can find the black trapezoid shaped acoustic panels in the opening scenes of this video. They look great!
