Hi Rick, nice first look at the Fimi X8 SE 2022 V2, Thank you. There is another accessory for this drone that one should consider, the TX10 Smart Controller, $299. The TX10 has 1000 nits, HDMI output, microphone, and allows loading third party apps. While I have a number of more expensive drones, I enjoy flying my X8 SE 2022 V2, It's a drone pilots dream drone to fly. Also important is that the Fimi has RID and that the Bluetooth transmission can be seen using the nRF Connect app. It still needs FAA approval.

There are two versions of this drone. One does not have the speaker or the payload dropper, the other does. They are different hence the V2 designation for the one that has the extra features
Thanks for the post but the V2 designation lets you know it's the newer 2022 version with some updated features. Both the module is optional and adds about $50 to the price on the Fimi website but they are both still referred to as V2 models. I'll have some cool flight footage posting this week so please be sure to stop back to check it out. Rick
Thanks for the post but I fly almost every day and post a ton of flight examples on the channel. This was an unboxing and overview clip and I did mention a few times that I would be following it up with a few more clips for the first flight and flight footage so be sure to stop back for those.

Its the winter here in NJ and it's been a few busy months heading into Christmas so between the colder weather (bad for drones) and the holidays, I haven't had a chance to get the flight clip done for the Fimi X8 but hope to have ti posted soon. I have flown it a ton and it handles well and the video looks great so stay tuned for more details and some flight footage after the holidays.

I think DJI puts a limit on how much he can promote a competitors product, show but no go.
