I love hearing Marvin Gldstien play. I love how he bears his testimony through his playing. The spirit is so strong when he plays and I enjoy listening to his music when I like to take time and do some personal reflection. How grateful I am for a loving Heavenly Father and His Son, Our Savior and Redeember, Jesus Christ.
Thank you. My tired and weary soul is soothed. Listening to these melodies bring a feeling of comfort, a smile and a realization that after all, I am so much blessed in so many ways! How good, righteous music can change mood.

Few things let me feel the Spirit more strongly than Children's Songbook songs. I wish we could all be more like children. I hate the loss of innocence that comes from growing up and seeing how bad the world is getting. I'm glad there are sources of solace like this to listen to.
Me too. You just can't unsee or unknow things, and I feel like I'll never be as pure or innocent as I once was even when I am living a righteous life. Primary hymns invite that spirit of purity and simplicity into my life for just a little bit.
I look at it a different way: We lose our ignorance, not our innocence, as we grow up, if we cling to the Iron Rod. We will have greater sorrows, to be sure. But our joys will grow with them.

When we went to BYU education week in 2000 with my Dad, we went to every single class that Marvin taught. It was unforgettable and I will never forget that special time spent with him. He surely has a God given talent. I surely hope that he does a podcast to record his conversion story along with how his Mom got her special witness of the truthfulness of the gospel. I've been searching and searching to find this. I've found his testimony story, but please Marvin tell the entire story....

I love John's humility. For whatever reason this piano sounds like a digital. Also, a ton of ward organists can take a free lesson from John on how to introduce hymns, play medleys, modulate and transpose. Merry Christmas, John
