I like listening to Naoh Kagan more than to Alex Hormozi, because Noah is so much more relatable.
Have been listening to Noah since the early days. And he's never developed an ego, yet always comes with fire advice!
Alex Hormozi is great in his own rigth, but he is doesn't very well rounded nor hapy. It's all business all, all the time, for the sake of it.
That's fine, but not for everyone.

Noah's journey from Facebook to creating multiple million-dollar businesses is super inspiring. One key takeaway for entrepreneurs is the importance of validating your business idea quickly and cost-effectively through tools like Google Ads or Facebook Ads by testing different value propositions before fully committing to the product development. It's a game-changer strategy that can save you time and resources in the long run. Good talk

I think the coffee challenge thing is a very bad idea if you are a regular costumer somewhere. I think the same goal of improving your ability to ask for things could be accomplished in a more positive way that will not negatively affect your reputation. You can simply make a habit of noticing things that you like and then asking people about it, for example their clothing, car, a piece of tech, or an employee a distinct feature of the store they work at. Asking for a discount creates a negative experience for the employee in almost all cases, because they are tensing up waiting for a negative interaction with a customer to happen, because from their prospective objecting to price is almost always a precursor to a negative interaction.

This conversation was awesome. I'll be honest that I was a bit skeptical because of the length, but the whole thing delivered. Somewhere around hour 3 I had a real unlock, where Noah was talking about asking for the sale. I realized that, even though my companies have done millions in revenue in the last number of years, I'm often not asking for the sale when I should be. I'm not working my way down the value chain to get the first dollar, but I should be. So, I got a ton of value from this even though I'm an experienced entrepreneur! Thanks Tim and Noah for the great conversation and all the value you put out.

It has nothing to do with the discounting. It's practicing asking. Learning about fear, rejection and a simple test to gain self-confidence. Try it and you'll see.

Austin is soooo hot! It's nothing like California. The mosquitoes are NON-STOP and the size of hummingbirds. The ground is hard pack. Don't plan on gardening. I broke a f**ing pic axe trying to plant a bush in my front yard. Don't get me wrong, downtown Austin is awesome. Town Lake is amazing. BUT nothing like California. You think property taxes are bad in California, welcome to Texas. You will be floored.

I am not your target audience, but I am a avid YT fan and consume 2-5 hours of YT content daily (walking the dogs for 2 hours), so a podcast would work, but it's a lot of effort to find and download for me.
For TH-cam, it sounds like you have to go to the platform, but you are not happy with that choice. So maybe that is why you are waiting and since you are not getting value from your TH-cam experiments. 0 conversion from clips makes sense, if I am used to consuming this content, why would I go download a podcast without seeing hundreds of clips demonstrating the value of the podcast. If I only get paid 60 bucks an hour, I need to get 240 dollars of value out of the 4-hour podcast. I think you easily have that value, but it could be extracted in 15 minutes or at least a clipped 45 minute version for the YT platform.
Now if you have 100-200 shorts demonstrating value of the podcast, with enough reps you may get conversion. I listed to this interview for Noah, and I cleaned the house while listening. Like the event you ran, Brag, Give, Ask. Sounds like you are just asking for conversions. I will think about how your team can focus more on giving from these podcasts.

Way too difficult to get to newsletter from the notes. Also too difficult to find links to gifts kagan gave tim. Lastly, many people who are watching TH-cam are watching BECAUSE they don’t want to read. Why would you necessarily expect conversions to the newsletter from a podcast or TH-cam. But if you do, make it easier.

@Tim Ferriss, RE: TH-cam vs Blog - Bc you’re leaning towards the blog, why not film the podcast, cut it up into chapters but embed them into a blog where you can delve into topics discussed with more ideas that you didn’t have a chance to talk about with the guest? Just an idea. Combining the best of both worlds.

After listening to the entire podcast, I think I heard the word "Youtub" 500 times from Tim. Not knowing you, it sounds like you are scared. Smart people tend to overthink and not act. The safety issue is important, but make sure it's not an excuse. At 3:43:19 - Tim appears to get real uncomfortable in his body language when Noah asked him how much money he puts into his TH-cam video productions. You can watch without the sound and just see the body language changing. I am sure I am reading into it, but I felt a change in posture.
I have some other ideas too...

Wow, this pod was super insightful and I'm hoping to takeaway some of management tools, strategies, tactics that Tim and Noah discussed. Noah goes into detail at 42:22 "tracking metrics that matter." I'm an accountant for a tech company want to implement some of these measures. Question: does Noah discuss these metrics in "How to Launch a Million Dollar Business"? Thanks.

Just finished Noah’s book. It’s excellent! Was already a fan but caught him on Ali’s show and found him so refreshing. And this interview was FAR BEYOND my expectations. Two friends conversing…was a bit voyeuristic in the best way. Loved it!! Thank you! Ali Abdaal should be on, I bet he’d have an interesting perspective on Tim’s channel, respecting his need for privacy and integrity while still growing.
