Hi Jeri, I love your rambling chats. It really is like 2 friends just talking. Love, love, love it. I made a bunch of project boards. I hot glued batting to the boards and then used printed duct tape around the edges. I made them for quilting but I never thought to use them for my wool stitching projects! That is gold. Thanks for that great idea. Glad you have a new buddy close by. Lucky gal.
I love the batting idea! Another viewer suggested felt. YEARS ago when I quilted/appliqued A LOT I had boards made from masonite and I glued felt to that. I don't know what happened to all of them, they must have gotten lost in my moves. I used them all the time! I did splurge on another felt mat! LOL 💛💛💛
Thanking you for that wonderful little chat. There were times that I thought I was right there with you. Having a Chronic health condition is difficult. Being grateful for the little things is the best way to get through it. I'm glad you are taking care of yourself. I missed you! We are settled in our Brevard, NC home and are loving it so much in spite of Hurricane Helene. Our town and neighborhood were spared compared to areas around us. I started slowstitching and have made a few things, but I just had my second cataract removed yesterday so I will wait a few weeks to sew. I love your wool squares and am inspired by your projects as "you don't follow the crowd." I hope to see you again soon!! You are loved by your viewers and wish you well in your healing and adjusting to your winter home.

I have a sewing machine in my bedroom. The large bedroom is my sewing room too, with two sewing machines and everything needed to sew. Hubby has COPD so he sleeps in his recliner and the living room is all his. The third bedroom is my computer, hand stitching, crocheting etc. There's also a Singer Featherweight in it too. Your videos are wonderful to watch,

Hi Bella, they are precious indeed! I've been drooling over photos. My kids gave me a Nixplay a few years ago, I have it on my desk. It's one of the picture frames that have downloaded photos in it. The photos keep rotating. I LOVE it and sometimes I find myself staring at it for an hour! ❤️

I belong to an embroidery guild and a few weeks ago another member brought a quilt top she had hand pieced and embroidered and mentioned she followed a dot a day you tube channel . I piped up and said " That is Jeri Bellini". We live in Tasmania, Australia so it just shows how far you reach. I enjoyed your chat today and I am definitely off to find some cardboard squares so I can move my projects about without messing them up. Great tip.

No Outdoor fires near me but we thought our house was going to burn down this morning! OUI! It got really cold and our new heater kicked on the emergency heat and we smelled a bad burning smell! It was scary for a few minutes, until we realized something was burning off the pipes. Disaster averted! Always GRATEFUL! ❤️❤️❤️ And you are among friends here! Sending LOVE!

We recently downsized to a one-level home with no basement. We had to get rid of a lot of stuff. I kept my most treasured art/craft supplies. That said, I use the Primary bedroom as my art room. It is larger than the second bedroom, which holds just our bed and dresser. (but that's all a bedroom needs to be) My art room has the best view too. We are right by the river and I see the seasons go by. I love it!! I agree make your home the way that works for you. I too have an auto-immune disease so I understand "flare-ups" Take care and get lots of rest. See you in your next video. :)
Happy to see you! I make batting or flannel covered foam boards to store WIPS. Fabrics ‘stick’ and don’t slide off. Lori Holt has a tutorial. I just use hot glue.

YES! The house I raised my kids in, my dining room was an art room. That house was enormous, and when they all left and I was still there (mom was alive then and lived in the cottage behind me) I used most of the rooms for some sort of art/craft. That was my favorite house, but it got too big... 💛💛💛

I was also making a Christmas dress for my doll who's like a 4T size and a Christmas tree quilted wall hanging for my first Christmas party on Dec. 7th. Yes, K3N's curtains out of her quilting materials are fabulous. Kate over on "The Last Lonely House" has a blocked curtain as well, but the squares are smaller than K3N's. I would like to felt some thrifted sweaters, as my little wool stash is in my house back east, but living in the desert for the winter - well I’m not sure the thrifts have much wool! I too am trying to sort and settle in to my crafting space here. It’s my tiny house!

I did make a lighter one, it's purples, blues and grays. I'll be making more. At the moment I'm surrounded by wool and plan on making a few options. 💛💛💛
