My grandmother’s favorite cereal was Frosted Flakes. ALWAYS had a box (or two) in her cupboard! I remember that commercial very well and it made me laugh. We didn’t eat them at home, which is fine because I never like sugary cereal growing up. But I did like fruit roll-ups, which only Grammy would buy for me!
There have been so many great cereal commercials throughout the decades. The ones I liked most were the '80s and '90s since I grew up in that timeframe. So I have a lot of nostalgia for the cereal commercials of the '80s and '90s. As you mentioned, that Barney rap commercial was one of my favorites, especially since I'm also a big fan of rap music. Well, only old school rap from the '80s and '90s since I don't like newer rap. I really don't like newer music for any genre. I only stick to older music, like the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s, though especially the '80s (the best decade for music imo). Anyway, growing up I also liked the Corn Pops commercials where the person would be freaking out on the inside thinking they were all out of Pops, even though they were acting like it was cool. They were pretty funny and entertaining to me. I liked the Frosted Flakes commercials as well, especially the ones where Tony the Tiger would help an athlete overcome obstacles. But most of all, my favorite cereal commercials of the '80s and '90s are the Honey Nut Cheerios commercials. Like you mentioned, the Scrooge commercial is one of my favorites. I also liked the ones with Sonic the Hedgehog, Garfield, Frankenstein, Hulk Hogan, Godzilla, (big fan of Sonic and Godzilla) etc. It was entertaining to see how Buzz Bee always had a way to tempt someone's tummy with the taste of nuts and honey. Oh, and I also remember a Honey Nut Cheerios commercial with Dominique Wilkins. I really liked that one, since I'm also a big fan of the NBA (Golden State Warriors fan since the '90s, though I also closely follow the entire NBA). There are so many other great cereal commercials. Way too many to list!
Brian Austin Green in that Pops commercial, who moved on to 90210 fame. Also appeared on Smallville. Probably other shows. Is that Ariana Richards (Jurassic Park) in the Cinnamon Toast Crunch ad? The Kix Christmas was one of my favorites growing up. Pretty sure they used it a few years in a row.

Love these. I agree, Rappin' Barney is probably my most memorable commercial. The Fruity Pebbles Christmas one "ho ho ho, I'm hu-hu-hungry" stands out, too. If you feel lazy again, it'd be fun to do a best cereal prizes video, too. Loved those wacky wall crawlers that were good for about one throw before collecting dust and hair.

I think cereal...."Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...Mom what day is it?" He has the most adorable Southern drawl. Any idea what that commercial was? It is driving me crazy!
