No, you actually have place down the warped fungus or else they will attack you even if you're holding it.
Yep! & baby hoglins will come up & attack you, however they will run away when hit unlike the adults.
I recommend you use the wi zoom mod because that's one of the best zoom mods for fabric. You can use the scroll to zoom further or closer and it doesn't use the cinematic camera while zooming unlike optifine. (i would give a link but i can't)

There's also Ok Zoomer, which is my preference and similar to Wi Zoomer, but with the cinematic camera. Both work really well :)
It's crazy that you already beat the Ender Dragon and got an Elytra in just 4 episodes.
the mob farm is insanely efficient i must say,pretty much like everything you've done this episode,as you said it was quite a productive one unlike my day xD

Great content, I thank you for it. I'm glad to see that you used a spyglass, I'm not a fan of mod zooms for some reason, but I do like the new item and love to see when creators use it. The irony is that I love the way you are using your replay mod for a really pleasing watching experience, but add-on zooms get me. Again, you are doing great work and I think you for it.

You made incredible progress here, going to the Nether, End, and getting an Elytra in one episode! (Not to mention that huge mob farm!) Also grats on getting an Unbreaking Villager so quickly
I wonder if when they eventually make an End update, they add the End mobs from MC Dungeons in there, which would be quite a challenge.
(There’s Watchlings which are basically Mini Enderman, Blastlings which rapidly shoot Projectiles, Snarelings which Trap you in goo, making you unable to move, and these Massive Mini-Bosses called Endersent which do crazy damage when they hit you, but attack slowly)
Warped fungus allow you to ride hoglins using the same method as pigs

You can use stone type slabs as your mob farm roof as it's not flammable which can't catch fire from lightning. I used nether wart blocks to build the platforms of my mob farm to use by products from obtaining crimson and warped woods effectively and reduce waste to my chest.
Watching you gives me motivation to play minecraft again... you make me want to play it

You can use a mod or a spyglass to zoom,but imo the spyglass is more fun!

Not sure if anyone can answer this or not, but how does one lock a villager trade? Im pretty noob-ish when it comes to the updates after Village and Pillage
Once you trade with them I believe their trade is locked, but I could be wrong!
Thorns is also better for afk

Does mobs spawn less often in 1.18 than in 1.17? I remember building this farm before in 1.16 and 1.17 and got tons of stuff. Now in 1.18 it still works, but it only gives me like half of the items it did before. I have also extented the roof to make the 10x platforms at 0 light for mobs to spawn. I also saw that you got around 3000 gunpowder and in (Shulkercrafts Mob Farm video) He got like 5000 gunpowder in 2 hours. For Shulkercrafts video he got like 1220 gunpowder in just 30 minutes. If i try to afk for 30 minutes in 1.18. I get like half of that or less. Idk why.
Or Maybe the mobs just drop less when they die now??
I’m honestly not too sure! Technical Minecraft is not my strong suit :)

I hated it when I played bedrock too. it's just a huge pain when transporting hostile mobs and it takes out alot of durability
