I'll jump ahead and say I can't wait until we get to explore the neighbor's yards.
How about weather. For example rain causes flooding. Heat wave makes you thirsty and less stamina. Dead grass
What about exploring indoors
Donnie Oliphant I feel they would be good for food but you can get attacked by a cat or a dog

I was afraid that might have been a error when I saw that gap but hopefully not!
I really hope they keep working on this game,and people keep playing it. Been a life long dream of mine to be able to play a game like this.Really hope they expand into the neighbors yards as DLC or something.Maybe have one neighbor that doesn't mow their grass so the grass is really tall and tons of dangerous predators lurk in it or something. Very dope game.

Handsome Jack you can get bee armor in survival mode it’s in the ant hill
Scorpions arent that much of a regulat backyard creature so they might not be implemented, also dragonflies would be massive and proprably you wouldnt be worth their time

We need an ant queen boss, a bee queen boss, a fish/ frog boss, more spiders, diving gear, ect.
I'll take less spiders my games bugged an not only does it spawn 50 larva bugs in my camp every night there's a cave with over 100 of em frames are real lol but the spiders there's so many all over 😂 I have like 7 wolf spiders now an then near my camp an prob another 100 or so around the area of reg spiders, I have some sort of spawn Bugg issue in my save luckily the devs are going threw my save file ATM to see why

@@GabrIelGomes-pp3ib they apprently might have found a fix as I was talking to the manager that deals with support so hopefully comes soon
@@Anihilationx360 few days ago there was an update, reduced larva spawn and fixed spider spawns was in the patch notes
Coolest thing I've seen with the trampolines was when an ant wandered onto the one I use as an entrance to my base. The silly bugger was helplessly bouncing for about half a minute before it finally managed to extricate itself.
I wanna be able to get inside the house and like an ant, steal food from my own house.

If larvae are wrecking anyone's house you can always build on top of the baseball using scaffolding. I've been living here for a few weeks in game and haven't had a single problem with raids.
So you know those really tall ledges that are right outside of spawn? I built over one of those and haven't had a single issue with larvae either. When they go to attack my home they all pile up under my house, so they're easy to pick off with a bow.
@@nauticalgaming2256 That's a great spot too. Far east there is a big rock wall on the edge of the lake that's a good spot for late game.
@@royceblanton4007 that's where my girlfriend built her house on her world and it's good too because it's by a lot of stuff you need for high end tools and armor, like stink bugs and spiders and stuff
I'm all gonna be about strategy, where to place my base, and where to place traps.

These look great, so much potential for other bugs to attack your base and trap additions
That’s what will make this game have so much replay value is having the insects attack your base in a sandbox mode after so many in game days different insects attack your base and you have to defend them with your friends or yourself and I’m hoping it has this kind of mode cause it’s a great concept
The BlueBomber yes but it’s super annoying and they can’t steal your stuff if they can’t reach it lol
Austin Wills but if devs add the ability that insects can climb like the spiders and ants seeing they can in real life and give the other insects the ability to fly like the beetles cause they have wings it will make the tower defence mechanics so much better.

I already have a big base on top of the wooden post by the pond it’s the best spot because ants and other insects can’t get to me (well not yet anyway 😏)
The spike strips seem to attract waves and waves of larvae.. some could say its a " bug" in the game.. too many bug puns for thiz game lol
Dude I built a ton around the outside of my security wall. When I came back to finish building them, there was so many larvae that my game kept crashing.
I think the attack your base if you have food stored in them! I had forgotten a gnat roast on the grill inside my house and when I came back a soldier ant where chewing on the walls. I had worker ants sneaking around outside, trying to get to the food on the grill too. When I removed the food they went away. This has happened several times.
It's not just ants. I got invaded by a whole lot of larvae, and to top it off a large tarantula showed up and I wasn't anywhere near a burrow.

The issue with wolf spiders is it seems like the follow player pathing to an extent. They actively attack other things so they may be driven off their normal areas and then if you walk through there they may accidentally stumble on your base. Had one on our base at like day 5 and managed to lead it away. It wouldn't attack the walls but was looking for a way to get to us inside
Adding centipedes would be awesome. They could be a tough enemy and possibly scarier than the spiders. Also make them rideable mounts cause they're pretty fast and can traverse over any terrain basically
I think for the bomb trip wire trap it should be stink bombs that are twicked or modify to deal three for four times the damage that it does to enemies and it doesn't harm the person that placed it or they can make two versions of the bombs the one you talked about and the one I'm thinking about.
You should do a video on every decoration in grounded btw great video 👍
Ladybugs will attack your base like leaf walls just for the food
I've had spiders gather around my base but not attack it.
It would be cool for a bug trap like an aphid trap made out of spider silk where you can sometimes trap creatures for food.

For me it’s ants, larva, and sometimes wolf and orb weaver spiders

where do you get the honey?
Hey jade every time I play grounded and try and build something for example a floor. It crashes my game on all worlds that I have made. Do you have any idea to fix this?

I think its random because I've had bases like everywhere and I just get hordes of everything regardless of where I'm set up. Too bad they never touch my camp bc I always build high😎 now if they add bees and hornets I'm sure I'll be sol.
How do you unlock the ice traps and stuff?

Just so everyone knows: If you build your house up high and use a spider pad to get up to it, ants will use the jump pad and come up to steal food! Two ants jumped up and came for my chests because I had pollen in them lol. They tear through chests!
How did you get the spider pad? I've been playing for 2 days and haven't found it yet

Larva. Currently the later-game menace is massive armies of larva that constantly attack your base.
Stop making spike traps, they spawn them enmass.

The youtuber blitz had many larva attacking his base so i think they naturally attacked his base like how ants do, it just depends on the area you are in.
A tower defence element to this game will make it amazing imo and give the game unlimited replay value and be super fun to do with friends ❤️

The bounce on ground needed no foundation.
If they had Snakes i'm done with Grounded. Spiders are okay if you drop their UI down to 4 they look like a small ball attacking you. Don't Add Snakes

stupid question, but how do you open console commands ingame ?
Its not a stupid question. He's using unreal engine 4 unlocker. Allows you to use commands. Press tilde to open console. So if you downloaded the grounded demo on steam you're still able to play it if you launch from tree folder you installed it on. Then after launching the game launch the unreal unlocker and press inject and there you go. Gladi responded to you since answering your question isn't on the top of his agenda

loool! i am saving some stuff for release like i said spoilers for story and locations, but most of teh stuff shown is there in game, plus their discord didn't seem to fussed about using debug tools, which is what i am using
lol.. im sorry but this guy is 100% wrong the ants will only raid you if u have food or that sort of thing inside ur boxes no food or petals no raids
also from my observations you only get hords of larvae if you dont cut ur stumps down from the grass etc
