    Hey how much of a difference do you feel using marsblades vs regular for these drills? Is it worth the price tag?

    • @trevorturkowski4995
      @trevorturkowski4995 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve tried them on before, at first it fells like you’re so off balance, but after a little you’ll get the hang of it. Now for the price, I think it’s around like $300 or something like that, but in my opinion you should buy it if you can afford it but if you can, go for it.

    Would it be beneficial to where rollar blades while shooting pucks in my basement to simulate the feel of shooting on skates?

    @hockeytraining is it just me or do you play with a short stick? Where does your stick hit standing up straight? Trying to figure out if I should shorten my stick a bit to speed up hands.

    What kind of sticks are you using on the ODR? Can you use a composite stick and not get shredded up.

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does get pretty shredded on the blade unfortunately

    Are you using regular inlines or marsblades?

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ice hockey boots (my old CCM skates) and Marsblade holders and wheels

    • @mrsheftalia1743
      @mrsheftalia1743 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hockeytraining do you find a huge difference from regular inline to marsblades ? I'm currently in regular bauer inlines and am wondering if it's really worth all the money to switch over to marsblades?

    What puck were you using?

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Green biscuit

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Jim Moriarty The green biscuit works pretty well if it's smooth cement

    If i gain weight how much slower will it make me on the ice?

    • @sportshaven1502
      @sportshaven1502 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think gaining some weight can't hurt at all. It will really benefit you a lot for hitting etc. and I've seen some guys on the fairly heavy side who still move really quick on ice.

    • @deletetruth8771
      @deletetruth8771 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on how much weight you gained and if that’s mostly muscle or fat , and if it’s muscle is beneficial specifically for hockey?, not powerlifting ect..

    • @hockeytraining
      @hockeytraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you do it in the right way with a hockey workout program and nutrition plan you will most likely become faster even when gaining weight!

    What kind of puck is he using?

  • @zigbo5659

    Can i do this with a ball instead?

    • @paulrr5711
      @paulrr5711 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yup. It will feel a bit different for when you do use a puck since I feel a ball has some spin on it that you have to fight a bit, but you're still working on the fundamentals of stickhandling. 🏒
