Great Printer... I do support the Epson new out of the factory external tank strategy by buying the original Epson refill.

I have never bought any other printer other than epson, my question is about the ink. I am considering an EcoTank printer, if you print around 100 sheets a month will the ink develop a skin or does sitting around not printing for some time effect the ink. Does the ink have a life span?

Love the printer!! Prints loads of papers with the same ink supply, I printed about 1500 color & black&white and the tanks are not even halfway empty...
My question: it started printing the colors very faded (compared to the usual colors...), what do I need to do to fix this problem?
We have the ET-3600.

we moved and have a new broadband service. How do I change the password in the printer? I have the password for the broadband but I can't get the letters to change (#2 letters abc) how do I change from a to b? how do I change from letters to numbers?

I have re filled all the color and Black ink tanks and I am trying to follow all internet instructions to reset the ink levels. When I press 'ok" twice I do not get the screen to choose the color tank! Even if I press the home button or not. Please help!

I have fenageld all over the pace because the instructions are truly mediocre! Instructions say press "ok" twice... well... one first has to go the home button and setting and look for maintenance and look for reset and then you press "Ok' twice! Come on Epson! I love this machine! Can't you get someone to rewrite the instructions please?
