    I can't manage to perform the Power Cleaning. I don't have the icon in the taskbar. There's no way to do it otherwise. WHY MUST THIS BE SO COMPLICATEDDDD?!....argh

    This video needs to be updated for Windows 11. Since it is Microsoft's most infantile OS to date, there's no way of getting to the printer controls the way you could on prior versions of Windows. The taskbar icon you are showing in the video doesn't exist, and the printer settings page doesn't allow you to do the operations needed.
    Please fix asap. I have a printer in need of cleaning and no way of doing it.
    Why not allow for Power Cleaning from the app? You can do everything else from there, so why not this?

    How about when there is no yellow color when you do the nozzle check but my yellow ink. Level is still high

    totally agree with the commentators saying this only works for windows 10. spent way too long looking for solutions for a W11 computer read the comments here and then dug out my old computer W10 on it. V straightforward, luckily I still had it, and it had the printer installed from previously. ran power clean once, works perfectly now. W11 WTF is up with those limitations! Let us into these machines

    Right click the 'Printer' icon in your system tray (bottom right).
    - Nozzle Check option will tell you if your nozzles are clean. If any color or line breaks are visible, run Head Cleaning below.
    - Head Cleaning will perform a basic head cleaning on the printer. Run Nozzle Check afterwards.
    POWER CLEANING:
    - Power OFF the printer
    - Press and hold both the 'Power' button and the 'Help' button (a '?' symbol with a circle around it)
    - Printer will power on with the Power Cleaning option available.
    ... absolutely moronic that this information isn't included in the manual.

    power-clean worked for me. mine was printing absolutly nothing and a blank paper was coming out. 3 times head clean didn't do anything but power-clean just fixed everything. ET2750.

    Nope..., no good - still no magenta at all, ET-4500..., very disappointed with the product at this stage...

      I had the same problem as you but only yellow isn't printing(Using L4160). I didn't want to yield by giving my money to a printer repair shop or buy those self-help kit. What I did was keep repeating head cleaning(Maintenance > Head Cleaning), took me 8 tries and finally start see bit of yellow segments. Repeat another 5 times and the colour appears to be fine. Didn't had any problem (300+ colour pages since then). Hopefully, I managed to provide some help.

      @@epsonamericait doesn't matter. I am using Windows 11 and at the support page there's no utility to be downloaded other than the Epson Scan software. But I solved my issue by following the procedures to the printer itself

    I have an Epson Sure Color 170 I followed the cleaning steps, and it fixes my problem on not printing magenta color now appears on the screen the next message : Capac restante caja de mantenimiento" What it means? I've checked videos and I don't understand why? I don't printing a lot, but I tried printing once a week avoiding issues. TIA

    Was not printing anything in black (all others were OK). After 2 attempts, all is back to normal. Thx for this comprehensive tuto.

    I have an ET-2720 that is properly installed, and prints well. However, the nozzles need to be cleaned, but there is no printer icon on my taskbar (not even in the hidden area), and right-clicking on the printer icon in the printer folder (or from the Start menu) does not give me a "settings" or a "maintenance" option. Any suggestions?

    I have an Epson 2700 Ecotank .The ink is two thirds full. the Cyan is not printing at all. I have done 3 head cleans and nozzle checks using the controls on the printer itself and waited 12 hours . Still no Cyan - In order to do a power clean I need to use Windows . I have read the manual and users guide online. However, there is no maintenance tab on my printer settings. i have tried this with both my laptop and desktop. How do I do the power clean please?

    What is the importance of waiting 12 hours? I just did the first 3 cleanings and each one made it worse to the point now where there is basically nothing at all on the test page. Will try the power clean in 12 hours if the cleaning doesn't do anything. Looks like power cleaning did the trick.

    How to clean the paper guides or rollers? There doesn't seem to be any option in windows to do so. My Epson ET-2711 is not able to pull the paper from the feeder. It always skips few centimeters which results in offset printed text. When I'm printing multi page docuemnt, some pages/papers are pulled by the roller correctly whereas others are not.

    When I right clicked I got 2 options. The icon is Epsom Event Manager. Whatever that means. WHY WON'T THE YELLOW WORKKKK!!!!!!!!

      @@epsonamerica im also having this issue, was printing at first then got a notification that my black ink was low but all levels look full. im not sure if it could be because my ink has tinted the plastic on the tanks, Anyhowi ran print head cleanings then my paperes started coming out blank. im buying more ink and a printer head cleaning kit... how can i reboot the system?
