So nice to hear someone who actually cares about these monkeys even down to giving them little windows to look out of during transportation. THANK GOD FOR YOU PEOPLE, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!
Lulu and Sally are amazing foster moms, the intelligence on Sally face is mesmerizing. LuLu just walks around whacking Seamus for his preteen bad boy behavior. If she had a ruler it would constantly be flying in Seamus’ direction!
"There's a troll up my nose and he'll have you"... Jeremy, the stuff he says to those chimps is hilarious. He has such an infectious way of dealing way of dealing with them. You certainly tell he is in his element with them.
I think Shamus absolutely means to hurt that baby.......I mean jumping up & down on him & the babies is who he terrorizes on purpose, he's smart enough to leave the adults alone. One of the meanest adults there should pin him down & jump up & down on him 😡 He's just mean!
Several years ago at the Los Angeles Zoo a dominant male chimp grabbed an infant chimp from it's mother and beat it to death against a tree in front of visitors. They decided to separate out the mom's with young ones. This video could be a warning of things to come.
@@cpujol9420 I know in the wild female chimps mate with every male then can. Then the males think it’s their baby I guess? If a new Chimp becomes the leader he could kill any baby that was the former leaders baby.Chimps are very vicious towards each other.
You mean Jeremy. He raised Seamus since he was a baby. He is the only one In Monkey World who can enter the cage with "teenagers", and even get close with adults, when it is really needed, depending on the situation. Of course, the Chimps and Orangs don't know that he is not as strong as they are. They must think he is an alpha male in order for him not to get hurt. It is still dangerous but sometimes, the situation is critical and he takes the risk.
Seamus (the mindless moron. lol) was such a bad boy. I hope he grew out of that and is a much kinder man ape. I guess we'll find out eventually. I do hope all of these amazing animals are thriving today. I don't know how long the monkeys live but the apes live a very long time. Barring illness they should all be alive today and have many years left
I love capuchins. Is this an older video? Have they been regimes at Monkey World yet? Poor dear animals. I can’t wait to see them safe at Monkey World.
Ive never been so jealous of anyone more than i am of Jeremy… literally has the best most rewarding job on the planet… so lucky to have so many monkee besties… i want to meet the great apes sooooooo bad it hurts my soul to know i probably will never get the chance.. makes me so sad
These beautiful creatures are so entertaining and interesting to watch, I never get bored! 😁 And these wonderful people that take care of them are awesome! 🙂 Thank you for all you do.
Seamus is not angry, he is just overly excited and can't control himself. His mom Sally is not much into discipline. Well, sometimes she does it, like Jeremy said, but clearly not enough. Poor guy will have a hard time with Bachelors. He is smaller in size then them.
That bites that they cannot go back and get all the Capuchin monkeys, I hope they can take them all. Cause you know any that is left behind will be put to sleep. 🤬 And it is NOT fair to them. They did not ask to be stuck in cages being poked and prodded all their lives.
Orangutans have the record amongst primates, they nurse their babies till they are 7 years old, the longest of any primate, except for some really weird humans...😬😬😬😬🤢🤢🤢🤢
I have wanted a monkey my whole life. I was up to getting a capuchin monkey from helping hands and then covid hit and they quit doing anything with monkeys. I’ve studied monkeys my entire life. I would love to adopt a baby girl capuchin for a service animal. I’m disabled but I can take care of everything by myself. My kids are grown and I want a companion. I stay at home a lot. The Monkey World is advocating against people having monkey at home. Are you out of your mind??? You did not learn anything from this program? If you are not a cruel person, don't get a monkey, get a dog or a cat. Monkeys, especially Capuchin, are too intelligent, and they must live with their own kind. Have a heart, don't do that.

I love all monkeys except for Macaques. So glad they aren't present at this sanctuary. My very close friend was a foster monkey mother for years,...until she got to old to handle them. My experience with Macaques is a very personal one. I can say eith 1000% confidence,....that they are greedy, gluttonous, destructive, aggressive, unpredictable, and foul natured animals. They will attack you completely unprovoked. They will try and kill other troupe members over food. In captivity the hierarchy goes out the window for most. Unless they were in the wild and plucked from there troupe. They waste food on a massive scale. Take one bite from an apple and throw it down. My close friend has scars all over her body. Sure,....when they are baby's they seem cute. But that very quickly turns to the most annoying turd barrel on planet earth. She fostered Rhesus, Barbary, and Pigtail mainly. She had the occasional Capuchin. But if your reading this,....??.....and your considering getting a pet monkey??? DO NOT!!! It's an enormous amount of work. At one time she had 4 total. She had to pay me to assist her with the 8 times a day feedings that start at 8 in the morning and stretch into the middle of the night at 3. Its brutal. And believe me,....they are uncooperative in every way. Cant stand them.

It's amazing to watch how Sally goes after Seamus when he bullies the babies
Very nice and I think that this of travel (cages/box) is actually roomier then most air lines seats for human. ;)
Shamus is going to have a sad awakening with the bachelor group.
I wonder why he was left for so long in the Sally group
Waiting on pins & needles for the next episode. I love these guys - human and non-human. Love them all! Such a joy😊
That’s not play fighting. They don’t scream when they play. He’s throwing a jealous tantrum.
Thank God for all of you. These poor babies, the hell that some of them endure from such an early age because of humans... it's heartbreaking. .
That monkey was jumping on the juveniles back. It must hurt.
That was Seamus the naughty one.
AWW the babies were scared. So cute

I can't believe Jeremy wears that earring out amongst the chimps and hasn't gotten it ripped out!
Agreed. It's unwise to wear anything the chimps are unfamiliar with. Even certain colors can set them off.

This is so sad for Aris after moving in with Gordon he died at 4 years old DEC 5, 2007
Are all these videos old? So do they just edit them to make this series???
Is there anywhere else to view these videos???
How sad. How did he die?
Yeah these are old videos.. I'd love to know what's going on now 6-1-22
How about a spoiler alert?!? Not everyone has seen the rest of these, myself included. Aris was my favorite orangutan. Wish I hadn't seen that!
Which one died? Aris or Gordon? Either way will be tragic. Orangutans are going extinct. We need them all to live.
Sheamus needs to be fitted with a radio controlled, "Shock Collar"!

Why are babies being born to live behind bars?
Their crying is obnoxious...
