"It's Linux next year", proper Aussie accent and TH-cam transcription service is in shambles. Maybe this year will be THE year for Linux
Mine begun in 2017. Goodbye Windows forever.
good series idea
I wish I had this vid a few months ago! 😅 but then again it was kinda fun figuring stuff out with the btrfs snapshots as a safety net
Thanks again for another great video, it will be great if you can show us how to solve issues with openRGB not detecting devices, I am having issues with my RAM sticks and AIO Pump.
Thats usually got to do with needing to allow openrgb to see those devices, i forgot how to do it as i did it a long time ago but thats something i can do in the next video :)
Thanks again.
But do we really need mouse specific software? I have a very light weight Cooler Master MM720 and with pointer acceleration switched off this works very well.
For gaming people. The MM720 is a very accurate, high dpi, cheap, claw grip gaming mouse.
No we dont need specific software for that, but i know a lot of people that do like having software to set different things on their mouse or keyboard like rgb or changing which buttons do which on the mouse.
Im in the same boat as you, my lamzu atlantis doesnt need software and doesnt have any rgb so i dont need third party software
nice.
nice vid very descriptive
are you familier with single gpu passtrough & virt io ?
would love a nooby tutorial because the only thing holding me on windows are those invasive anti cheat sodtware ._.
it is sad that rainbiw six siege and other games just won't work just because the anti cheat and if it is working you will probably get false banned 😂
I am not familiar with that stuff as i dont want to get banned doing that just to play one or 2 games
I do hope pipewire or pulseaudio implement the audio split like in windows for laptop that will play the first app on speaker while the second app on the headset at the same time.
Sorry if my comment is random hehe
this is already possible via pavucontrol
I like the video but I feel the name doesn't really work. if I'm a new user then nothing of what I would think of searching would being this video up in the search.
My Brightness control is not working 🙃
What distro are you using?
Will there be a part 2? :0
Maybe (´∩。• ᵕ •。∩`)
Hi, what distro is this?
Arch
@@linuxnext Hmmm, didn't think Discover was used on Arch systems...now i know.
@@donaldc3884 only for flatpak, system packages are not allowed on discover on arch
sounds fuuuuuuuuuun
The title is wrong. It should have been Things to do after installing Linux with the KDE desktop. Because there are several other desktops too. Like for instance: Xfce, Budgie, Mate, LXDE, Lxqt etc.
Yeah thats true, but i also mention that in the video before i start talking about what to do on that desktop
@@linuxnext I know, but it's a bit confusing for a new user.
@johanb.7869 i agree, it has been changed
@@linuxnext 👍
10:32 dope wallpaper where you get it?
