"Niagara Falls State Park is the oldest state park in America, established in 1885 at the Niagara Reservation. Over 8 million visitors explore Niagara Falls State Park annually. During periods of peak flow in the summer and fall, more than 700,000 gallons of water per second pour over Niagara Falls. Four of the five Great Lakes drain into the Niagara River, (Superior, Michigan, Huron and Erie) before emptying into Lake Ontario. These five Great Lakes make up almost one-fifth of the world's fresh water supply."

I live 45 minutes away. Never tire of seeing and feeling the falls. Canadian side. You can feel it and hear it before you see it. There is a great mist that rises from the falls. It can be seen far off. The roar of the water is impressive to hear and mesmerizing to see. Very powerful.

It is honestly one of the most sacred spaces that I have ever seen or been to. I love going there and just meditate for hours.
I live 5 mins from the falls and it’s stunning. The air is so clean and the sound of the falls is like thunder . The most beautiful thing I have seen. And it’s basically in my back yard. Stunning and fun. It’s a mini Vegas but with a wonder of the world right in the world.

You're luckier than me Goddess Of Tales. I live 6 minutes away from Horseshoe. When the weather is right and I do things in my backyard, I can see the rainbow over the Falls. On a quiet night, I can hear the distant roar. Have lived here for many years now and never got used to it or took it for granted. I just know in my heart that the chance to live here has been one of Destiny's most precious gifts to me.

@@rubyrevolution1192 I can, but I prefer to ride my bicycle to the Falls. Sometimes, I do it at dawn when there's nobody around. We see the sunrise together - the Falls, myself and racoons. :)

Niagara falls is truly a wonder to see for all who have not. I live in Buffalo New York and I love coming to the Falls it never gets old. You have to do different things to not get bored. You can get some wonderous memories through your camera. You'll love the results of it. Whether you're on the American side or Canadian side. The Maid of the Mist and everything.. The fireworks at night and the colors of the Falls is breathtaking. This video show the true realness of the Falls. if you never been then this video show truth and make you want to be there. Believe me...
