the usa is truly incredible, ive been here 4 times and all 4 times i consider to be the best vacations of my life (one of them was even a week long high school trip, and i live in the UK btw) but even being here 4 times i just cant get enough of it, you can almost never run out of amazing places to go in this enormous country, cant wait to go back.

I miss USA so much! I was travelling around in USA for 2,5 months about 3 years ago and I can honestly say it was the best thing I’ve ever done in my whole life! Such a wonderful journey in a wonderful country! I saw so much when I travelled around by train and by bus! ❤️🇺🇸 I started in Miami for 2 weeks, then I took the train up north along most of the east coast on my journey up to Philadelphia! (Took 26 hours for anyone who might be wondering but I Didn’t mind because I loved seeing all the amazing and wonderful landscapes on the way as the train made it’s way more and more north along Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Delawere and then finally Pennsylvania). In Philadelphia - or ”Philly” as I started calling it after some time - I was another 2 weeks, one week I stayed with a friend outside the city in a place called Wynnefield Height. The second week I stayed at a hostel in the City! Then I went on a day trip to New York with bus - then we went through New Jersey and then New York! That was the day that was supposed to be the last in Philadelphia, but I took a day trip to The big Apple with a girl I met at the Philly hostel! We went in the morning and got back in the evening to Philadelphia! I still remember spotting some of the skyscrapers of Manhattan in the distance as we started getting closer to NYC! In New York we took a trip out to Statue of Liberty, a walk in Central park, lunch by a restaurant just across the street from central parks southern exit! We also took a trip to the new World trade center! So really difficult when you only have 6-7 hours in New York but we did the best out of it! The next day I headed to Cincinnati, Ohio - also by train passing through yet another few states like West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio! There I stayed with a few other friends for about 10 days! Even one day we actually went on an RV camp trip to neighbouring Indiana - a beautiful camp spot located probably 5 minutes away from the border with Kentucky! It was a beautiful camp spot next to a little lake and some woods around! And further away a little river that was making the border to Kentucky! That day we hung out, ate some good food and listening to some sweet country music!🤠I also remember my friends and their friends asked me a lot about Europe where I come from and say some words/phrases in my language!😂😂 Then I took Greyhound down to Nashville passing through the state of Kentucky into Tennessee! There I stayed for 7 days! Then the bus to Memphis, Tennessee (but the bus stop was actually in a place called West Memphis which is located in Arkansas so I even got to see that a bit before heading back into the city with an Uber! Then after 4 days there I took the train down to New Orleans - which took us through Mississippi as well as Louisiana! And after about 10 days there, I took the train up to Chicago, Illinois which was my last stop! Leaving Louisiana, passing through Mississippi once again, into Tennessee, then a small portion of Kentucky until we reached Illinois and a couple of hours later also Chicago! I stayed there for 10 days before heading back home! It was the best trip - in fact the best and coolest thing I’ve ever done! I saw so many states on my way around the country (20 perhaps), I had so many cool experiences and met so many people there and one of the reasons was probably because i stayed at hostels almost everywhere I went! It was a lovely experience and I would LOVE to do this again! No words can express this properly, as I am writing this I am almost getting emotional because it was so great!!! I loved every minute of it!!! I would love to be back there❤️❤️❤❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

When you think of red rock deserts, you think of Northern Africa and the Middle East. When you think of rolling hills, you think of Scotland. When you think of rainforests, you think of the Amazon or Central America. When you think of beautiful beaches, you think of Brazil. I've also been to Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands, but never to Germany where you are closest.:) All very beautiful country around you! I miss USA so much! I was travelling around in USA for 2,5 months about 3 years ago and I can honestly say it was the best thing I’ve ever done in my whole life! Such a wonderful journey in a wonderful country! I saw so much when I travelled around by train and by bus! ❤️🇺🇸
I started in Miami for 2 weeks, then I took the train up north along most of the east coast on my journey up to Philadelphia! (Took 26 hours for anyone who might be wondering but I Didn’t mind because I loved seeing all the amazing and wonderful landscapes on the way as the train made it’s way more and more north along Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Delawere and then finally Pennsylvania). In Philadelphia - or ”Philly” as I started calling it after some time - I was another 2 weeks, one week I stayed with a friend outside the city in a place called Wynnefield Height. The second week I stayed at a hostel in the City!
Then I went on a day trip to New York with bus - then we went through New Jersey and then New York! That was the day that was supposed to be the last in Philadelphia, but I took a day trip to The big Apple with a girl I met at the Philly hostel! We went in the morning and got back in the evening to Philadelphia! I still remember spotting some of the skyscrapers of Manhattan in the distance as we started getting closer to NYC!
In New York we took a trip out to Statue of Liberty, a walk in Central park, lunch by a restaurant just across the street from central parks southern exit! We also took a trip to the new World trade center! So really difficult when you only have 6-7 hours in New York but we did the best out of it!
The next day I headed to Cincinnati, Ohio - also by train passing through yet another few states like West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio! There I stayed with a few other friends for about 10 days! Even one day we actually went on an RV camp trip to neighbouring Indiana - a beautiful camp spot located probably 5 minutes away from the border with Kentucky! It was a beautiful camp spot next to a little lake and some woods around! And further away a little river that was making the border to Kentucky! That day we hung out, ate some good food and listening to some sweet country music!🤠I also remember my friends and their friends asked me a lot about Europe where I come from and say some words/phrases in my language!😂😂
Then I took Greyhound down to Nashville passing through the state of Kentucky into Tennessee! There I stayed for 7 days! Then the bus to Memphis, Tennessee (but the bus stop was actually in a place called West Memphis which is located in Arkansas so I even got to see that a bit before heading back into the city with an Uber! Then after 4 days there I took the train down to New Orleans - which took us through Mississippi as well as Louisiana! And after about 10 days there, I took the train up to Chicago, Illinois which was my last stop! Leaving Louisiana, passing through Mississippi once again, into Tennessee, then a small portion of Kentucky until we reached Illinois and a couple of hours later also Chicago!
I stayed there for 10 days before heading back home!
It was the best trip - in fact the best and coolest thing I’ve ever done! I saw so many states on my way around the country (20 perhaps), I had so many cool experiences and met so many people there and one of the reasons was probably because i stayed at hostels almost everywhere I went! It was a lovely experience and I would LOVE to do this again! No words can express this properly, as I am writing this I am almost getting emotional because it was so great!!! I loved every minute of it!!! I would love to be back there❤️❤️❤❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
