Okay explain this…
“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true god, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” [john 17:3]
And
“…for the Father is greater than I.”
How can Jesus saying “me and the father are one” mean that he’s literally part of the father if these other verses make a clear distinction between them and ranks Jesus as lower than the father? If Jesus is god it simply means he wouldn’t stop being god by being limited, doesn’t it then make more sense to call him a prophet, as what muslims believe.
@@mumin9761Jesus is the human manifestation of God. The easiest way to wrap your head around it is to take a picture of yourself. Is that picture you? Kinda. Its a JPEG version of you. It shows some of your attributes, but you are so much more than whats seen in the picture. Jesus is God in human form, but like a picture cant come close to capturing all of what we are (heart, soul, thoughts, feelings, personality, etc...), the human form cant come close to capturing all of what God is. Jesus is still God, but God the father is also so much more...... I hope that helps to explain.
Find it in any gospel then John, the gospel of John is the least credible according to every historian, also there is an argument against both of them but I’m not gonna bother, uh fine I will talk about the me and the father are one, Read the context he was talking to his disciples and then said just like you are in one with me , so yah

5-(John 5:37): (And the Father himself who sent me bears witness of me......).
6- (John 13:16): (Most assuredly, I say to you: No servant is greater than his master, nor is there a messenger greater than who sent him.)
7- (Luke 4:43) Then he said to them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to other cities also, because for this purpose I was sent.”)
8- (John 14:28): (If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, “I will go to the Father, because my Father is greater than I.”)
9-(John 8:40): (But now you seek to kill me, a man who has spoken to you the truth which I heard from God.)
(Mark 7:7): “But in vain they worship me, teaching doctrines that are the commandments of men.”
(John 20:17): Jesus said to her: “Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to the Father’ Your Father, my God, and your God.)
(Matthew 7:21): “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”
(Mark 13:32): “But of that day and that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.”
And he said to God while conversing with him: (John 17:3): “And this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
And he said to God (John 17:4): “The work which you gave me to do I have finished.”
And he said to God (John 17:8): “For the words that you gave me I gave them, and they received them and knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.” ).
And he said to God while he was speaking to him: (John 11:41-42): (And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you because you have heard me, and I know that you always hear "But for the sake of this people standing by I said it, so that they may believe that you have sent me."
And he said to God while he was conversing with him while he was praying (to whom should he pray?) (Matthew 26:39): (Then he went forward a little, and fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let these things pass from me.” A cup, but not as I want, but as you want.” ...42 And he prayed, saying: “My Father, if this cup cannot pass from me unless I drink it, thy will be done.”
And he said to God while he was on the cross (according to the New Testament), (Mark 15:34): “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?’” (which is interpreted: My God, my God. Why have you left me?)

How can a Man who Peed. pooped. Ate. prayed. be God?
@@Introvertical873 Theres two issues with this argument. One it doesnt recognise that there's a difference between the material and immaterial world. If God did become man then obviously He's going to undergo the biological processes such as eating, drinking, pooping and peeing. Since that was how bodies are made. And those bodies exist independent yet infilled with the spirit assigned to them
Also, in Chalcedonian Christian Theology it's commonly understood that Christ has two natures. Divine and Human, this doesn't mean that Christ is partially God and partially man, but rather Christ is fully God and fully man. Since He meets all of the prerequisites of both thus making Him the one and only perfect mediator between God and man
@@mrmcface713 Well That still doesn't Work for a God. God Can't Take a Form of a human. It goes against God and who he is. So for him to Take a Form of a human seems to be unrealistic. And the whole concept of the Trinity Seems Oddly similar To a lot of Pagan religions.
@@Introvertical873 if said God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, how would it be paradoxical to take on the form of said creation. Your argument debunks itself in the sense that if there was An all knowing, all powerful God, why wouldn’t he be capable of transmutation from the unknown divine realm to that of a cellular level of human existence. You impose limits on the power of God. The next question would be why would a God even do such a thing? Hence, the Gospel of Christ.
@@hey.suss_1227 You Argument is " If God Is All powerful then he should take the form of a human" again that concept has many problems. Ofc I wasn't Saying That God Isn't all powerful. However.. Again For a omnipotent God To take a form of a human is simply unrealistic. In that case that means God isn't all powerful. That means That God Can't Do anything Else To spread A message. The holy trinity isn't in the bible, that was an explanation concocted much later in an attempt to maintain a monotheistic religion with possibly three Gods running around. Technically its two Gods because the Holy Spirit is described as an effect of God, not an actual being. Because Jesus on multiple times makes it clear that he and the father are not the same being and places the father above himself, you would have to interpret I and the father are one to mean something like one in purpose or mission in order to not contradict Jesus.

If someone (a Christian as stated above, an atheist claiming everything came from nothing, etc.) accepted one rational impossibility, why stop at one rational impossibility? Why can't God create a rock he can't lift? Why can't a mother give birth to her father? Why can't there be a squared circle?

3- (John 7:16) Jesus answered them: (My teaching is not my own, but his who sent me).
4-(John 5:30): (I can do nothing of my own accord. As I hear, I will be judged, and my judgment is just, for I do not seek my own will, but the will of the Father who He sent me.)

13-(Mark 13:32): (But of that day and that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.)
14-And he said to God while speaking to him: (John 17:3): (And this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent).
15- And he said to God (John 17:4): “I have finished the work that you gave me to do.”
16- And he said to God (John 17:8): “For the words that you gave me I gave them, and they received them and knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent .
17-And he said to God while he was speaking to him: (John 11:41-42): (And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said: “Father, I thank you because you have heard me, and I know that you are always You hear me. But I said it because of this people standing by, that they may believe that you have sent me. ).
18-And he said to God while he was conversing with him while he was praying (to whom should he pray?) (Matthew 26:39): (Then he went forward a little and fell on his face and prayed, saying: “My Father, if it is possible, let this man pass away from me.” This is the cup, but not as I want, but as you want ...42 And he prayed, saying: “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to pass from me unless I drink it, thy will be done.”
19-And he said to God while he was on the cross (according to the New Testament), (Mark 15:34): “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?’” (which is interpreted: God). My God, why have you forsaken me?

The Quran, written around 610-632 AD in Arabia, emerges about six centuries after Jesus’ lifetime, significantly diminishing its reliability as a historical source for Jesus’ life due to the large time gaps and the simple fact that the Quran was written hundreds of miles away in Arabia, not Israel. The Quran draws on oral traditions and non-canonical texts rather than direct eyewitness accounts, which could introduce variations and inaccuracies compared to earlier more reliable Christian texts. Additionally, being a theological text, the Quran’s portrayal of Jesus is intended to underscore Islamic theological themes rather than provide a detailed historical narrative. The Quran will never be as reliable as the New Testament.
The New Testament accounts of Jesus are considered historically valuable because they were written close to his lifetime, potentially within the lifespan of eyewitnesses, which often corroborate each other across multiple texts, including the Gospels and letters by Paul and was written in Israel where Jesus lived and died. These documents provide insights based on direct or near-direct observations of Jesus of Nazareth within the same cultural and historical context. Additionally, some archaeological evidence and writings by non-Christian historians like Josephus and Tacitus lend further background support to what the Gospels claim about our Christ.
The statement “Your bible doesn’t even have an eyewitness” is ridiculous, makes me even wonder if you have done any research on this subject at all.
The New Testament includes materials and narratives that are based on eyewitness accounts, particularly in the Gospels. The gospels are derived from the teachings and memories of those who directly witnessed the events of Jesus’ life, for example the apostles Peter and John. Additionally, the Gospel of John explicitly says that its based on the testimony of an eyewitness, referred to as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.”
Im not gonna do all the research for you for every one of Jesus’ disciples but just to show you evidence that Peter was real, we have the writings of the New testament accounts, Pauls epistles, early Church Fathers such as Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch, and Irenaeus of Lyons, Tertullian, Origen, historian Eusebius of Caesarea, we have St.Peters tomb in the Vatican, and the fact that Peter was crucified upside down for his beliefs in our Christ in Rome at the hand of Emperor Nero. As a matter of fact, 1 in every 25 or so Americans have one of these, just many do not speak out about it. Now, there are THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of reported cases of these, but what’s intriguing is that most of them all possess one common similarity: overwhelming feelings of peace, joy, and energy, a bright and Holy being, as well as a heavenly paradise. Sounds a lot like Heaven and Jesus, doesn’t it? If you want to find more about it, read the book “Imagine Heaven”. It changed my way I view the world, God, and my life permanently.
These can often be negative too. This story is very surreal but also very true. There was one case reported by both a doctor and a patient in which the once-atheist patient had heart problems and kept coming in and out of cardiovascular failure. Each time he went out, he reported that he went to Hell, and would scream in agony and pleaded the doctor to pray for him and alast when the doctor finished praying, the patient went out again and told the doctor he had gone to Heaven. Keep in mind both the doctor and patient were atheist, but switched to obey God and Jesus thereafter. More true stories like this are filled throughout the “Imagine Heaven” book.
Let’s also take a look at archaeological remains found at the bottom of the Red Sea. We’ve found remnants of ancient Egyptian chariots and bones found scattered throughout the seafloor, and that sounds overwhelmingly similar to the story of Moses when he led the Israelites out of Egypt. Think about it, how else would those have gotten there, dead center in the middle of the sea all those thousands of years ago?
Also, watch the video “23 minutes in Hell”. It’s a very real place and we should desire NOT to go there in any way, I’ve had a few traumatizing dreams about the place.
One other thing I’d like to mention is the perfection and existence of the universe itself. So precise, the Earth SO perfectly from the sun, rotating and revolving in the PERFECT amount of time with the PERFECT elements and planetary history. It’s all beyond the thought of chance. There HAD to be a creator. Also, the Big Bang itself makes no sense. Everything came out of nothing? That’s like saying an apple appears in my hand out of nowhere. That breaks all laws of physics, modern science contradicts itself in that way. Now if there were more universes prior, wouldn’t that make us in eternity ourselves??
God is also present in various peoples lives too. Cases of people experiencing an absurd amount of strength in situations where they might die(they sought the Lord for help), feelings of peace, joy, confidence and happiness, which I myself have felt as well.
My friend , I encourage you to take some time to think about the evidence above, and I DEEPLY encourage you to buy that book and allow God into your life, and accept Jesus as the ONLY way to ETERNAL salvation. Eternity is REALLY bizarre when you think about it.

Jesus was explicitly clear. The ONLY true God is the Father. Jesus is not the Father so he can't be God. Taking an ambiguous statement and interpreting it to confirm to Trinitarianism doesn't make it true. John 17:3 doesn't need any interpretation. It's crystal clear. (Matthew 7:21): “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”

Finally: All of these texts confirm the humanity of (Jesus); It also denies the divinity of Jesus.
1- (Luke 18:19) Then Jesus said to him: “Why do you call me good? No one is good except one, that is, God.”
2- (Mark 12:29) Jesus answered him: “The first of all the commandments is: Hear, O Israel. The Lord our God, the Lord is one.”

And so when we take GOD as the SON, He is the one who embodies these four things:

One day Muslims say the Bible is corrupted and one day they say it isn’t and use it as evidence like, WHAT?!😭😭😭
What? I dont think muslims say the bible ISNT corrupted but okay
Here’s a fact. The Quran was written after it. As in trying to rewrite God’s Word. If they did do that, then that would be blasphemy!
It is factually corrupted. It's a steelman argument that even if it were true Jesus words himself contradicts church doctrine.

We never said fully. If there is something explicitly in line with Islam we will agree; when there is something explicitly wrong we will disagree; when something is not explicit we neither believe of disbelieve, as we could be accepting a lie or denouncing a truth.
In this brother’s case he wasn’t using these verses for himself but rather what your own religion says. Surely you can take from what the Bible says for yourself, right? Cuz if it’s not for the Christians of today, then who is it for? He’s rightfully talking about Christians by using their own scripture
