I seem to be one of the few people that loved Good fortune. That fennel note just adds something herby that surprisingly delights me. Can’t wait to get my nose on this flanker. I love incense and palo santo.
I thought I was going to dislike Good Fortune. I was pleasantly surprised by its subtle, long lasting femininity. Unless there is another less expensive dupe; I'm sold. 💁🔮
I never understood why it got so many bad reviews, I have lots of parfums but Good Fortune is one of my most used. It lasts for ever and the dry down is amazing. I must say though, that this new version let me down a bit 😶
The one I tried in the store stuck to me all day, I was getting whiffs of it constantly, but when I received it in the post it seemed a lot weaker than that. Maybe it's one of those perfumes that need to be let alone to macerate for a few months? It smelled divine in the store though, it's definitely reminiscent of a more daytime-friendly version of Alien Essence Absolue
This happens to me all the time! I try a fragrance I store smells loads stronger than when you buy one then take it home. I was thinking maybe when they are open and stood used they get kinda activated or something

I found the original very boring and similar to so many jasmine vanilla perfumes. It’s annoying when the name and marketing don’t match the scent. I’m curious to try the new one.
I really wanted to smell good fortune before I bought it and by chance I found a perfume advert in the toy section of Macy's lol. It smells so good and there is a hoody I wear everyday and it has the smell of the perfume from the first day on it the next couple days to. It smells so good and yes is a unisex smell. I had bought the medium and small, and travel sized one when I found a deal for them. And by chance I think cause of Amazon prime day I found the full big bottle on sale for half price literally under $100. Now I just need a refill bottle and the new elixir one cause i just love this smell
Ive seen a lot of buzz that this new elixir version is similar to Alien Essence Absolu... My favourite sadly discontinued... What are your thoughts? Is it similar?
Why is this a good thing that the incense is not main note? Why does she say always if something is not mainstream as a designer, can be bad??? Why should all perfumes smell the same or as she likes this to say ,, like my Empress,,? 😃 How she described this new release I totally have no mood to try it out.
Yes i agree with you 100%! I don't really watch this channel tbh, we really do not have the same taste in fragrance at all, however there is hardly any reviews on this, and when i saw the notes with sandalwood, and especially incense, i was that is right up my street, and it looks like a witches brew lol and i love sexy dark mysterious fragrances, and like you i want the incense up front and center lol If she has said it is hardly there trust me, forget it, you won't be able to smell it, i saw another you tuber say you can barely smell incense, sooo dissapointed!! I will probably get a sample, safest bet, i think Soki's taste is very safe! almost boring, but just my opinion!!
I tried and didnt like it at all. Its all vanilla and incense and the incense got so heavy I started to smell like a chimney 💨🤭 i prefer the OG of Good Fortune
I think get a tester guys, i was all about that incense, it sounded amazing, and it is obvious it barely smells of it from this review! It could have been a fantastic fragrance, but played it very safe again i'm guessing, not everyone likes perfumes to be quite as generic or dull as Soki lol Seriously though i do not have the same taste as Soki in fragrance at all, the opposite really, just popped on as their are barely any reviews on this fragrance!
