I've managed to find another new Canadian band for this video - Taxi Girls, a three-piece from Montreal. Plus the latest album from Star Collector (Vancouver) ... Thanks for the congratulations! ... The Chills' reissue of 'Brave Words' with an extra disc should be a good one.
These are great Power Pop Shaker cuts Carl. Where do you find these? Another great comprehensive look at groups I've never heard of. "Snotty Bubblegum Pop Vocals." That's great Carl, just great!
Hi Tarrtruck! New (and reissue) quality power pop releases were a bit thin on the ground earlier in the year. There is so much good stuff though at the moment ... I search for the stuff I like via various sources - Bandcamp, power pop blogs, websites that sell power pop, music magazine websites, power pop labels' websites and the odd radio show (such as El Sotano at rtve.es) ... As always thanks for your support and comments.
