IME as a mom of 5 strollers more useful when they are at that 2 to 3 yr age. They are heavier and get tired after walking for awhile. Also if they are runners keep them safe from darting off quickly on a busy street
As a mother of 3, what you said is TRUE!! Many things are unnecessary. If I had known it before 😅. Thank you for your video. You look soo pretty as a mother ❤️. God bless you and your family.
I love this setup in your video so so much. garden/nature, birds chirping - it's so calming, just like your overall appearance always is! Be blessed. 🥰
I loved all of these because truly they’re not necessary. The only one that I did feel was a need during the toddler days was a stroller. I didn’t get anything fancy at all but it did help a lot specially for park days, grocery days when my husband was working and I wanted to take a walk with my daughter. At 2-3 years old there’s no way I can carry her for long periods of time lol she was heavy and would want to wiggle off 😆 Also I live in LA and I feel a stroller is somewhat of a need here. 🙂💙
When you live in colder climates like Canada a wipe warmer is really important. Baby wipes can get really cold, it can really be a shock to the system on the baby's bottom.
Such great tips! Most of these things weren’t around when I had my boys, but it’s awesome that you are sharing with other moms and dads that they probably don’t really NEED all the “things”. Simplifying Life is a wonderful thing!!!
I'm a mom and grandma and I am with you 100%! The only things you mentioned that I did use was a stroller and a simple bouncy seat (which I think is what you have anyway). I'm like you: use the practical stuff you already own! It's fine :-)
I never used my nursing pillow, I used a pillow or a couple to get the perfect angle. And for changing, we never had a nursery or changing table, we used old bath towels, you're always doing laundry at the newborn stage anyways. I never had a baby montior, I ended up using an app called Alfred, and using the tablet as the screen and my phone for a camera if I needed to shower etc. I only needed to use it about the 1st yr of my sons life. The wipe warmer did come in handy but I only used a short time. And now that we have a kettle, I may use your method for this next baby if I need to warm bottles, I had mix formula and breastmilk for my son the first 2 months and then pure breastfed after that and never really had to pump the remainder of the 15months I breastfed.
I love the wipe warmer because he's fine until you put the wipe on his cold but and the bouncer he loves and it's good for when I have to clean or cook but there are so many things that's expensive and unnecessary
I was watching your home tour when you were pregnant and I was wondering where you ended up putting the babies sleep area? I was thinking it would be an awesome spot back where your wardrobe area was / is and put your wardrobe area to the one side.
I haven’t bought most of these but some of these were gifted to me.. I didn’t like my feeding pillow as my baby felt too high up, but they are great for tummy time or helping them to sit.. other than that mine is going back to not being used again
excessive baby products. If I had it to do again I wouldn't have a travel system, or a highchair, full sized crib, I would just use a Pac and play until they were in a bit kid bed. She was an escape artist. I would have had a bouncer because I would have been able to shower.
You know what would be even more convenient, you said your husband calls you well I noticed you have an iPhone why not face time and then you can see the baby lol

4 kids and I’ve never needed any of these except for the nursing pillow, it saves my back so much.

I'm in Jersey and right now it's hot and the wipes are still cold

The phone idea is genius! I've never bought a baby monitor either
These are such good tips

I thought I was the only one that thought like this, thank you for this video, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one
Exactly like me I never used all such things 😊
Love the tips

My husband makes fun of me all the time because I say "de-thaw" 😂 glad I'm not the only one
