I hope you found this little foray into minimalist momming fun and informative. Please let me know below if there's anything that you don't/didn't use with your kids that errrryone else does/did. Sending you lots of love! xx
Thank you so much! I wish I knew how to crack the code to get more views, alas.... anyway, it helps to hear that you find them helpful! Thank you again!
I’m due next week and watching your content. I agree with the cloth diapers. In the beginning of my pregnancy I was so set on them but the more time I spent on online cloth diaper groups it just seemed like such a headache between finding the right combo of inserts and getting them clean. I quit before I even started 😅
I can't say I blame you! Hopefully you hadn't bought any yet? I did, and they're all in a box in my basement.... Now I have my second baby and I'm just like, "no." lol I need to give them away. Glad that the info in this video helped you. There are many things I wish I knew before I became a mom!
@@mariocartel544 Awesome. They're "Esembly" brand - organic! Almost entirely unused except for a few days of usage. Email me if you're serious. hello@veggiemagnifique.com
We had to leave behind our glider in our move. It was broken anyways and not worth the space in our pod. I do wish we had one still, but I will say it's true you dont HAVE to have one. I use my exercise ball and bounce baby instead of rock when I really need it. Not as relaxing for me, but helps with the soothing to sleep if I need extra help. Also, I agree a big NO on baby walkers and other such contraptions. LOTS of research on this. They are not good for babies. I recently learned about how many issues children have these days come down to brain balancing problems that develop from retained primal reflexes. These reflexes are not worked out properly when babies are too contained, swaddled, put in contraptions etc... Super interesting stuff I need to learn more.
Thanks so much for your comment, Shannon! I'm happy to hear that you found a way to sooth baby without the glider. I'd like one, one day, but so far, somehow, we've gotten by without one... even with baby number two! And good idea to use the exercise ball. And duuuuuude, it totally makes sense that putting babies in weird contraptions just isn't the natural way!
