Dalawang senior citizen ang namatay sa sunog sa Roxas City sa Capiz nitong mga huling araw ng Pebrero.
Ang Marso ang Fire Prevention Month sa Pilipinas sa bisa ng Proclamation No. 115-A at Proclamation No. 360, ngunit ayon sa datos mula sa Bureau of Fire Protection, karamihan ng sunog ay naitatala sa mga buwan ng Marso at Abril.
Sa huling 10 taon, sa buwan ng Abril sumisiklab ang pinaka-maraming sunog.
