    Glad it was only your pride that was bruised. Get5ing down all those steps would be easy enough. But getting back up would take me an age lol. Beautiful sights. Tintagel castles is on my bucket list to visit.

    As usual loved watching your video, thank you. Very interesting indeed and as we will be full time motor homers next year makes us want next year to come sooner than ever lol. It is wonderful seeing Archie and Fudge more often than not with tails wagging bless them, just wish all animals had a caring loving home. I have fell a few times (no injuries) in the field with our remaining rescued sheep and you are on the floor before you even know it hence so very pleased you were not hurt but I bet a few bruises. Keep the video's coming please as we look so forward to them and hope to meet you both on the road one day in the future 😃

    Lovely to see you still enjoying North Cornwall/Devon. Also, to be making use of the welcoming motorhome receive in Tintagel was great! Hope you found that car park quiet overnight? You may have already explored Rocky Valley/Bossiney Bay? It’s a real achievement for us to get down there with our mobility problems but it would be a breeze for you especially considering the steps and inclines you did on this video! We love swimming at Bossiney Bay….(in the summer!) It’s a really beautiful little cove that disappears really when it’s high tide. A great dog friendly cafe at the top over the road (and a field just above the steps that’s great to park a van in for the beach visit with wonderful views where you can just have a picnic/ice cream if you’re lucky enough to visit when the lovely old van is there! (And all for an extremely minimal fee!) Best Wishes to you all and Happy travels! Anna, Anne & Sasha xx🐶🐶

    Tintagel is amazing, the last time I went, a few years a go now, there was only the steps up to the castle. We had two youngsters and a dog in tow!!! Boscastle is worth a visit too, the home of the Witches Museum! Also St Nectan's Glen is beautiful, but quite a walk from the car park through the woods. I don't live too far away, so its a nice day out for us.

    Tintagel and that beach is wonderful, though I do think the castle itself is massively overpriced for what it is (the best parts you can access for free!) but all fine if you have the membership which we did. That car park is a real rare port in a storm in Cornwall too, always a favourite of ours.
    Glad you're not too hurt from falling, always frightening when that happens and we are also more prone to it when filming.
    We've not been to Devon anywhere near enough and wow that beach was right up our street, looked absolutely divine. Lovely video, safe travels ladies ❤

    • @MotorhomeMums
      @MotorhomeMums  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We were determined to visit the castle as we went there in 2018 when we were both still working and Archie had fully functional legs. Walked along the coast from a campsite a few miles away and couldn’t get in as the police had cordoned the area off due to night invaders for summer solstice. I think the fact that we’d waited so long made it feel a bit more worthwhile. That beach in Devon was to die for. Loved having it all to myself. If I’d been really brave I’d have gone for a swim. A reason to go back, although not sure I’d get Sue down those steps and she wouldn’t like me swimming without a lookout just in case. May be I could feature on an episode of Saving lives at Sea with RNLI to the rescue. 🤣 🙏🚌❤️

      @comealongdear 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MotorhomeMumscareful what you wish for with that 😂 Don't want to see you on any rescue show! I can understand her concern though- I don't do much swimming, but the times I have, I've made sure Stephen has been there to save me if necessary. That would make quite a video, hopefully we never have to film it 😂

    • @MotorhomeMums
      @MotorhomeMums  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh!! Not sure. New Bridge is good. We went years ago and would have had to climb many steps, except it was cordoned off by the police and youngsters had been celebrating summer solstice overnight and cause some damage. Xx
