Hi question planning on doing an engine swap on a John Deere tractor with a 14 hp engine with a new 17.5 hp BS engine. The issue I have is the wiring set up. The old has four wires connection two for the fuel Solenoid.

The other two for the power to charge the battery and lights. But the new engine has three wiring two for the fuel solenoid. The one red is the power I get that. Now the old engine four the new engine has three.
      Old engine 28N707 type 0635-a1
      New engine 31R907-0006-G1.
Reviewed the Brigg & Stratton for information but no clear answer. Do wish to fry the electric regulator the new engine. Help. Can anyone offer some suggestions please.

@@hibolinares5688 Splice the wire for the lights into the power wire on the new engine so that it’s going to the battery and the lights.
