Why not try to build a more integrated train system, like with a large central hub or multiple hubs and distributer lines, rather than building multiple isolated single-purpose lines? Just a thought. It would be nice to see a sprawling station with a dozen tracks or more. The new map is very nice btw. Def Arizona/new mexico vibes.
Thank you for the suggestion. I like your idea. When it comes to passenger trains I seem to be able to wrap mind around a central hub concept without too much problem. But when it comes to cargo trains, I struggle with making the connections and doing it through a hub concept. I already produced the next video. But in subsequent ones I may try to do as you have suggested. I will have to do a little more head scratching.
If yo double track all the way and put an X joining both tracks just outside each station, then the use of more signals will space trains out
Thanks. I am just starting to catch on to that one.
There is an auto signal mod that makes spacing out the signals much easier. It's similar in nature to the parallel track laying mod.
Thank you. I will give that mod a try. Should cut down on the tedium of placing signals.
