- The new game plus update for God of War Ragnarok added a few armor sets including the Zeus armor and just like the previous God of War game, the Zeus armor is possibly the best armor in Ragnarok.
How to get Zeus armor: Beat Gna in Muspelheim who drops the Cuirass of Zeus, and find the belt of zeus and gauntlets at the specific Remnants of Asgard locations shown. Now you have the best armor in GOW Ragnarok.

I never understood why they give the best or even just great armor at the END of games.. like what, now we can use it just for replaying the crucible? It’s always been odd to me how games in general do that
So you can play on hardest difficulty giving it mid game would make rest of the game on normal difficulty too easy
@@jaspalsinghbagol8840tbh a lot of people playthrough their first time on the hardest difficulty. So it is pointless to get the best armor/weapons at the end of the game, even with NG+ modes offered. Getting them 3/4 of the way through or before the final fights in the game would make more sense. To make those fights less of a grind for first timers.
It's incentive for new game plus play for me. I didn't get good armor till the end. Then started new game plus. Now I'll use this one to get the best combo I can then I'll play gmgow. I think it keeps the grind going a bit. Atleast for me anyway

From a design decision, it incentives the player to play with other armor to beat higher difficulty enemies, that way they don’t depend on having the BEST armor in the game to do so already. If they gave you the Zeus armor at the end of the main story, a majority of players are going to use it and not really play around with the many builds you can have with other armor.
I think the best possible combo is the berserker chest piece, combined with the Zeus Gauntlets and Belt. This prevents us taking too much damage, but Kratos also does a shit ton of damage.

I've gotten great results in NG+ by stacking up my stats as much as possible, then adding a bunch of the new enchantments that grant chest piece bonuses. Surtrs Engraving is pretty helpful, and getting health and rage bursts on every grapple kill is nice. Wish they had one for Sols bonus for extra damage based on rage...

Zeus set needs to be paired with good runic attacks to be op as the runic stat is pretty high with all the armor pieces equipped
I've done everything but didn't get the armor, why did I get the usual items instead

U should do a video of the basic armor and weapons set. The survival armor and the original weapon hilts and og shield and Ron’s of volition r really good fully upgraded they r even better than the ares armor
I still wished Mjolnir was added as a special unlockable, it would have went perfectly with the Zeus Armor! Also Kratos having blue thunder aura while using it would have been awesome too. lol
Maybe not a whole weapon but a relic that could wrap you in protective lightning and also coat your axe in lightning

They couldve just allowed us to have a reskin mjolnir for the axe, and making it unlockable through a super hard thor boss fight

I understand why they did what they did and they added A LOT I'm this update and NG+ is a hard thing to balance in any game but I was really hoping for a new "most powerful" armor, something original to the sequel. Im very happy with what they did..but still
Lol ur true the most powerful armor is still the berserk but it makes sense since its the armor tht shows ur achievement tht u killed all the berserks so thts why I rlly like it

When you start the new game + you get a armor with 40% increase damage from the start and a very cool cloak
spartan armor is so good, it gives the most strength and a bunch of vitality
Ares curias, zeus gauntlets, as many things that cause realm shift imcliding relic, and all the ng+ berzerker amulet parts. Rage on and off to nonstop freeze time and stagger everything.

Honestly I think the dragon set it pretty good as well NG+ made it easier to fully upgrade too as for some reason I beat every dragon drake and drekie in the game but didn't have enough
See if you have any pieces of armor that use the scales you can sell them to get it back
There is a dragon statue in the realm of the dowrfs, bring it to life to fight it
There's a hidden ground dragon at alfiem and in vannahiem in total I remember 10 drekis

I Got it on first playtrough to 9 no problem, now in ng+ 10 Also no problem

me too, I used the 'crow's tears' set for the majority of my first playthrough 'and the 'berserker' set for my plus playthrough.

Just do side quests, I think they all give one, some main quests give ones too, there are more than enough to upgrade the three weapons
You don’t have to do the sand quest to get the other piece btw. That area is available before doing so still.
Do you have to beat the game again on ng+ to get the one in alfheim?

Honestly prefer the Ares armour - not cos it's necessarily better but I enjoy using spartan rage and its the best for that

Lundas chest with the rest berserker in my opinion is the best loadout
I think Zeus armor cuts like butter. Playing Gmgow ng+ and I rip threw enemies. I play to avoid damage tho.
To be fair this armor behaves the same as its original counterpart so Id only be upset if they changed the armor outright
Try the same berserker broken build but instead of using vidar 's arms and waist use zeus arms and waist

If you have the full set on the highest difficulty does a basic attack from say a dagur one shot you ? And if it does, what about with just one or 2 pieces of the set will it still one shot you ?
timesaver: the Remnants of Asgard in alfheim does not need secret of the sands to be completed, so you can get the piece of Zeus armor without needing the secret of the sand to be finished.

The best armor is:your favorite amulets, berserker cuirass, berserker waist guard, gauntlet of Zeus and the shield that allows you to charge up the attack for the flames of chaos

It is my favourite in gow not sure in this one tho can’t wait to get it but if u can parry and u play smart if u can dodge well can counter well then this armour should be really good 👍
Welp Ares armor set it is until I reach end game. Shouldn't take to long, close to the part where Heimdall dies.

@@szumi-szumi4641 berserker is definitely way better tho you can survive hits and do more damage. Basically makes the zeus armour useless I’m sad that they didn’t make the damage higher.
@@salvinadevi9971 in short, berserker armor would be better for lower difficulties but if you're going for a ng+ give me no mercy/give me god of war then zeus is the better one. on those harder difficulties you'll get oneshotted anyway and you're much more rewarded with dodging every hit to where zeus armor would pretty much one shot the enemies back. berserker armor takes less skill as you can tank more hits and still dish out damage but you'd get oneshotted anyway on the harder difficulties.

What i don‘t understand is , why just after you finish the story do you get all of the best armour sets ? Zeus chest piece just after you defeat Gna 🤦🏼 to fight who ? Beserker King maybe and after that the game is over

In the original god of war, I had a build that was 503 strength with 365 durability I pretty much no diff every boss and I wasn’t even good at the game and I know this

Hvitserkr will be a pain in the ass even with Zeus armor so. It's nearly impossible not to get hit by all the fuckers that he summons. If even flying nightmares oneshot me even with the Steinjorn armor let alone what would happen with Zeus armor
I still use the starting armor its stronger than the bersker armor fully upgraded
It isnt about the numbers, but the powers/skills.
I use the survival set a lot too its just fun to not deal with any specific playstyle and just play

I'm not even going to try to get that armor because the Valkyrie Queen is a pain in the ass even on the easiest difficulty setting.
What is the point for getting armor after endgame?
i never got the zues gauntlet or the waist belt even tho i defeated both the asgard remenants and opened the chests the only thing i got was stupid amulets
This armor is only good if you wanna take down enemies in one shot IMO. Personally, the berserker armor is better cause you basically get everything in it
I dont understand why the armour gives defence stat as well if u die regardless of ur defence stat
Wished it looked different then just a recolor of ares armor like they should have given us his god of war 3 look with more armored shoulder and arm area and some lightning bolts on the cloth
It's even more of a shame cause both the Zeus and Ares armour are just recolours of Týr's Guiding Light set, I'm glad it does have some minor differences though like the 2 wolves on the front of the chest but that's literally it.

Talking about the new one, and even at that it's the same problem with the older variants of the Zeus and Ares armour, they're both recolours.

RN I am using Berserker Chest armour with radiance gauntlet & vidar's belt overall strength 652 defence is also above 525 I am thinking to add Zeus gauntlet so that it will increase the damage however I love the realm shift in the last minute evade gives the time to counter or Activate the whip slash
