They have been profiting from this island so much for over 100 years, that they don't want to give us the independence, they want to keep us as their territory. Their goverment is smart. Their companies make billions yearly here in PR, their rich love making huge resorts and hotels and coming here to live, they love taking our talented people like actors, musicians, etc, and professionals like police officers, doctors, etc, to the USA, they love taking our youngsters to their military, which every day more and more Puerto Ricans serve in the military and so much more. But I don't blame them, they are lucky to have this gem of an island. We are their little gold mine. But even if they are leeches, we are still strong and resilient people and keep making our country great. That's why everyone that comes here falls in love with our island, our culture and our people. Romany Malco is one of them. He lives close to where I live. Like 25 minutes away. ❤🌴💙

I have before & after pictures of leaving the island to show my overwhelming joy (while there) & super reluctant sadness (now that I have to return home), that when people see them they laugh hilariously.
